As co-composer for Phelxyre, I thought I'd share a bit of my W.I.P. music for the game.
Demo 1 I intended this as the title theme for Phelxyre, but that isn't set in stone. If not a title theme, perhaps it could be a theme for an antagonist or perhaps even the protagonist.
Demo 2 A town or exploration theme with a somewhat Celtic feel.
Written perfectly, I was instantly captured, You keep the reader intrigued with your story line, it is straight to the point, You gives us the background of the world, without being to short.
Characters
Alex seems like a very interesting character, especially as you have the opportunity to choose what is destiny is so to speak. Not much is given away about the other characters; but I am sure with time we will get to know these characters.
Gameplay
Well...what can I say:
Alignment- I am a great fan of the Alignment Idea, and look forward to create a downright EVIL hero Customization- It depends on HOW many things you can customize, and what specifically would be customizable,and will it be influenced by your Alignment? Free-world- I REALLY cannot wait to see this, as sandbox games are my favorite types of games; and always love to investigate worlds and go everywhere and see everything, would there be a chance for hidden extra's for the more eagle eyed players? Because that is something I would love to see! Skills- Is there anyway you could Elaborate slightly more on this, do you mean things like swimming, running, climbing, jumping? will these be constantly active, or will you use a Stamina system? Guilds- Not the greatest fans of Guilds personally, however it seems that it will suit this game very nicely! Banks- Once again a nice extra, however how do you fit this within the game? Isn't this game based in the middle ages; so items like Bank Cards haven't been invented? Screenshots

I am sure this will be changed, but it is very bland, it needs to have something added into the background, just to make it stand out...for example you could use some map images?

Paint me intrigued; there isn't much else to say It is hard to capture the Battle System through an Image, might I suggest using a Screen Recorder and perhaps record a simple battle?
Conclusion
I will be watching this game closely and the moment you are moved into the LD sections, I'd love to give this one a Pre- Review. Then again I am sure that Amerk and Penguin would want to also

Thank you for your reply... Here are my replies: CUSTOMIZATION - This game will allow the user to master in an element for spells, you can also raise up stat points. FREE WORLD - This world will be very expansive. There will also be TONS of secrets. For example, you could try swimming in the ocean (hardcore, eh?), and you could dive at a specific spot, and find a chest. Or you could see a misplaced piece of grass, and notice it is actually a secret hideout. SKILLS - Skills in this game will range from normal skills like running and swimming all the way to magic spells. At the start of the game, you have a few basic abilities: Running (maybe), Swimming, and climbing. You complete dungeons while getting spirits which help you learn new abilities such as holding your breath longer. GUILDS - Guilds is only a side thing to do. You will hire people, and fight in a tournament. Do good enough, and they might just join your party. BANKS - Yes, I know about it being medieval times and all. In this time, new things are appearing, such as banks. You will get a piece of paper holding a code, and that code will be special according to the union. The "Bankers Union" is a new union which discover this method, and hand out codes on paper. Be careful though, it may take a day before the other bankers get information about your change, and update their "written-out database". Basically, for short, it is a group of people who write down people's gold input and output, and travel city to city. You may not even see them, or you might. All of this is still not fully decided.
TITLE SCREEN - Check out this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcNo4yvV4pk BATTLE SCREEN - The Battle system is the 2nd slowest moving system being coded (1st is the menu system). So a video is afar.
Also, I changed Alex's weight from 160 to 135.
