Template Opinions Options

I'm working on a new template for sprites and battlers. I have most of the template finished for my battlers, but I'm trying to decide on an design for the sprite. I want to move away from the large head and short legs that are common on most sprites. I've done two sets one to HK size and the other to standard RTP size. I prefer the HK size, but I know there are a lot less resources out there for that size so I'll probably finish it in both sizes... I'd like opinion though on which design people like best.

i dunno about hk size or what that is, but well i think it depends on the map background, is the sprite designed to be used for a game thats just going right/ left ? then it would look ok. to me it kindda looks flat, like it doesnt have dimension for xp (dunno if i interpret it right).
the top right look like they are laying in bed / sticked to a wall or something/ flying mid air?.
