That's amazing! Statues are really cool and there aren't many statues outside of the RTP. =]

Yeah I had been wanting to do some bigger statues but they are so confusing to do, so I think that one will be it for me lol.
ANYWAYS I have decided to try something new! There are not a lot of good choices for custom enemy battlers right now, the default art battlers clash really bad with the custom battle scripts and well just anything really, so I wanted to try and make a sprite battler that would maybe flow better?

So here is my very FIRST sprite battler EVER!

I tried to make him strike a pose, think i still need to work on the legs a bit but for the most part it turned out well, took a long time though huh.gif
What you guys think?

Ok I could REALLY use some feedback about these, here is a pix slime that I did, I really think the default RTP battler clash really bad with ANY custom battle script so do you guys think this looks any better?

Ok I know I have not been posting alot lately, I have been super busy with many exciting projects, and I wanted to share a new char prototype im working on. While I do love the default XP style it is a little big big for my new custom tileset so I had to trim a char down to fit.

i'm not so much worried about the color balance of her outfit I just want a nice template thats pretty to look at, so what you guys think?

It's really good for a first no reference one. And, as always, it's good to try something new. However, I think you need to shade the body and legs more. Maybe make the legs a chainmail type texture to it.
I don't know much about fighting, but hopefully this funny drawing can help you in poses.

Edit: I just realized that it was holding the right weapon from the bottom..... Wow, my bad.[/img]

-----

At first, I thought you just shrunk down the default slime. But I'll just give the benefit of doubt and say you just used it as reference. Again, it's good but I think it's missing an outline or two. Try experimenting with that and see how it tuns out.

Super busy is always good to hear from you.... Because it seems like you are always busy with something extraordinary.
As for your latest work, I think an outline on her hands would shine out more. Also a few lighter shades on the hair... Unless that is 1 pixel in size then.... Oh idk, pixels are limited

Ah feedback woot.gif Well as for the slime no I didnt just make it smaller that wouldnt work cause the color depth is what clashes with the char battlers so I just did a smaller pixel version, I chose the slime cause it was the most simple battler to test on.

And my new stuff is exciting! I'm even excited about it, more then usual, I got some great ppl working with me and always looking for some more.

As for my female prototype I am still working on the sheet, its almost done, I made the hands a darker flesh color but havent touched anything else color wise, I want to make sure she walks normal in game before I spend to much time on the shading and what not.

Hey I thought I would post some more stuff for people to use, I have done a few different versions of a default RTP XP char for use in VX and Ace. Want to give ppl more variety.
