Alright, so its summer, I'm bored - suggest some games I should buy.
As an example of my tastes I currently have Brink (love), L.A Noire (meh.. the lack of freedom sucks), Fallout: New Vegas (love), Demons Souls (poop without internet to play with friends... and I don't have internets , and Borderlands (love).
Right now I'm waiting for RAGE, Skryim, and Uncharted 3 and I need something to play in the meantime. So suggest some game for the ps3.

Damn that sucks that you don't have internet. Sony is offering two free games as a appreciation gift, you can choose 2 from 5 of these games: Dead Nation, inFAMOUS, LittleBigPlanet, Super Stardust HD, Wipeout HD
It seems to me that you like sandbox games so I recommend Assassin's Creed or Red Dead Redemption.
And since you said you're waiting for Uncharted 3 I guess you own or played U2 already, if not, then I recommend it.
Or if you like sports get any game of any sport you like, sport games are the best to kill time while you wait for a big release.
Yeah, I beat red dead redemption already haha. I've also beaten the first two uncharteds that's why I'm really excited for the third. I generally like rpg's so long as they have an amazing battle system

I'd recommend Fallout 3 GoTY edition (if you loved New Vegas) and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, while you're waiting for Skyrim (though I personally didn't like it that much). Also, Mass Effect 2, Crysis 2 and Call of Duty games for shooters.

Personally, I really liked RoF, but that could be because I like attaching 20+ things onto my guns and making a ridiculously huge weapon. The battle system is a little bizarre, but fun overall. Besides, you can always hit the battle arena until you get used to it and test out new gun attachments there. The story and characters are very...ehhhhhh...but the battles, customization, visuals, and various other features more than make up for it. Especially since I'm relatively sure it's not full price anymore, I'd definitely recommend it.
Final Fantasy XIII if you haven't played it already, Vanquish is the epicenter of epicness and awesome, definitely one you should consider. I can't think of any RPGs other than Disgaea for ps3 =/
