Ok I dont have much experience in VX, mostly because it sucks, it sucked on day one, and was replaced by ace cause it sucks BUT I have a question. I have a map I was editing, it was a forest filled town with a lot of trees, the ONLY thing I did was take out like 1/3 of the trees, now when I walk through the town I run into invisible walls here and there, I looked at the mapping to see I maybe I made something a impassable tile but no, its just normal grass to, I have no idea if this has something to do with me taking away the trees or what. has this happened to anyone else?

How did you map your map?
are you mapping mapping or parallax mapping?

sorry, just a few questions as to why your running into invisible things.

No its normal mapping, you dont even get a lot of choices with VX so I dont know what could be wrong, I would just redo the map but its pretty big.

Ive been using RPG engines for like over 5 years, im amazed this is giving me trouble lol, Im just gonna make a new map. That one was haunted.

Just a quick observe about VX and Ace. The top leftmost tile in Tab B has to always be a star, so it's best to always leave that blank. If it's switched to something else it will mess with passability in the auto-tiles. I'm not sure if that's the problem or not, but might be worth checking and eliminating.

I actually didn't know about that, but I checked and it was already a star, I ended up just cutting the map in half, and all of a sudden all the ghost tiles are gone! I can move around again, but my map is cut in half dry.gif
