~Description~

Two best friends dads are in war. The king goes insane and tells his eight year old son to fight in the war or he will kill him. Eight years later Amethyst wants to find her old friend; she doesn't believe he's dead. Now the chapter 1!


-Chapter 1-
Dream




“Daddy!” A boy yelled hiding his head.

“I will end you!” The father yelled holding a gun.

“Daddy please!” The boy yelled running.

“You can’t get away!” The father yelled. Then he dropped the gun and smashed the boy into the wall. The boy’s wings didn’t work too well.

“You are after me!”

“Daddy what are you talking about!?” The boy yelled. The father took out his knife and started cutting the walls, carpet, and his son.

“Look outside! Look what I did for you!” The father yelled. The boy looked outside and started to scream.

“Why would you do that!?” He yelled and all the tears came.

“They were after me!” He yelled with the knife still in his hand.

“No one’s after you!” The boy yelled.

“Now you need to finish the rest of them!” The father yelled.

“Daddy I can’t fight in a war!” He yelled.

“Yes you can.” He said handing the boy his gun.

“If you don’t kill them I’ll kill you!” The father yelled even louder. The boy quickly ran away and started to kill the innocent people…..

Eight years later…..


The war was something all us fairies remember….It’s something that made me best friend die….He was eight years old when he died….Everyone says that our king; who was his father. Went insane when he was in the war, he went to his house and killed Jason…..I was six when the war happened….Jason promised me that whatever happens he would never let anyone hut me. I’m surprised I didn’t go insane….Now Jason and the king are dead…I couldn’t believe it, Jason’s dad was such a nice guy….Now I must become the strongest fairy and make sure no wars ever happen. Then I can find Jason; I don’t believe he’s dead. Everyone thinks the Lamasa family has no power but I Amethyst will show them that we are the same as everyone else!

“Amethyst, it’s time for school!” My mom yelled.

“Coming!” I said grabbing my backpack. I flew down stairs, and grabbed my toast.

“Have fun dear!” My mom said happily. I flew for a bit and then I saw a big cloud.

“There’s school.” I mumbled to myself. I flew up to the cloud and I saw my school.

“Here I go!” I yelled out loud. I flew really fast into the cloud.

“Too fast, too fast!!!!” I yelled. I went right through the cloud! I flew back up and landed on the cloud. It’s weird a school can go on a cloud and so can people. But for some reason if you are flying to fast you go through the cloud. I went inside the school and they were there…

“Get out of the way!” One of them yelled. They are the most annoy people ever. They learn how to use their power early. If you don’t know us Fairies can use the power of wind.

“Hey let go of me!” Some kid yelled. They were using wind to hold him in the air.

“Hey let him go!” I yelled.

“What can you do about it?” One of them asked putting her hand on her hip.

“This!” I yelled running over to them.

“This is going to be fun!” One of the guys said, I think he was her boyfriend. I tripped and I saw her name tag said “Ashley S. Duff.”

“Hahaha!” Ashley laughed still holding the boy in the air.

“Let me go!” He yelled. In the school I go to every fairy goes here. The young ones and the old ones. I jumped in the air and punched Ashley in her chin.

“You little brat!” She yelled. I jumped out of the way and caught the boy. He looked about six. I landed and told the boy to ran and get to his class.

“Brook, go and get Rachel!” Ashley yelled.

“Right!” She said and then she flew away.

“Ashley sweetie, do you need my help?” Ashley’s boyfriend asked.

“Yes, thank you Ricky.” Rick came over punching his hand.

Why do I always do this kinda stuff!? Is it just because I want my dream?

“Take this!” He yelled punching the air: A really big thing of wind came out and I went flying. I was on the floor in pain and I looked up and rick was coming closer!

“Get away!” I yelled. He took out a knife! What! We’re not allowed knifes until we’re eighteen! Even then we can’t use them unless we are in war! I know that Rick is younger than eight-teen.

“Hey you can’t use a knife!” I yelled.

“Too bad, you Lamasa!” He said.

“Get away! Get AWAAAAY!” I yelled.

“What in the world!” Rick yelled. Amethyst was glowing light red, wind was everywhere and everyone went flying. Amethyst stood up and the wind was worse!

“She may be what I’m looking for.” someone said and then they left. The wind stopped and Amethyst passed out.

“Ugh…..” I opened my eyes and I was on the school floor near the lockers. Some of the lockers were open and some of them had no door! Did Rick do this?

“Are you ok?” Someone asked.

“Huh?” I turned around and saw that little boy who I saved. He was holding onto the edge of the wall. The boy had light brown, spiky hair, he was in his school uniform, and one thing that I can’t stop looking at…His eye has a really big scar on it. It goes from his
Eye brow to his nose. He’s six so why does he have a big scar on his face?

“Y-Yeah I guess, do, do you know what happened here?”

“No, you told me to go to my class.” He said.

“Oh.” I said. I checked my watch and I had to get to class!

“Thank you for saving me.” The boy said.

“You’re welcome, now I have to get to class. I’ve already missed two classes.”

“Ok, have fun.” The little boy said. The little boy didn’t act like a normal six year old. When he was trapped in the air he was not crying he was more annoyed. But what do I know? I’m just a fourteen year old girl.

This is most definitely going to end in tragedy. Good job so far with it, the opening really puts you in the state of mind for what is to come.

I think this is how I am going to post chapter 2. I don't know...Here is chapter 2 I drew the pictures for my book

-Chapter 2-
Lamasa

“Lamasa,” Alex said. Alex is our history teacher. He’s a fairy just like us. “Please sit down.”

“Ok.” I said. I took my seat and the lesson was about the war….Why was the king like that? Hasn’t he seen people die before? I have so many questions! School was finally over and I started to fly home. It was starting to rain; rain is really bad to fly in. I looked around for my house but the rain was getting heavier! I knew that school was five minutes away from home but I could barely see anything anymore! I looked around and saw a cave! I flew to the cave and as soon as I made it inside the rain was really heavy! I heard foot steps inside the cave. Who was in here with me?

“Hello?” I said really scared.

“Hello.” A voice said from inside the cave. I knew it wasn’t human it was….

“Aaaaahhh!” I yelled as it came out of the shadows. It was indigo, it had a really round head, it had four eyes, one on the top, two on the sides, and one on the bottom. It had two little teeth showing, it had three tails; the tails were like dragon tails. It had twelve legs, six on each side.

“Could this be true?” I asked myself.
“I friend!”

“It is!” I yelled jumping back.

“Lamasa!” It said. It was a Lamasa! Legend has it there were only five in the world! They are really big but this one was like the size of a Tiger!

“A baby Lamasa…” I mumbled. I slowly went over to it and then it started to lick me.

“I Lamasa! You?” It said.

“I-I’m Amethyst Lamasa.”

“It not safe here, follow me before he comes.” The Lamasa said.

“He? Who are you talking about?”

“He come here and kill my family.” The Lamasa said walking into the darkness.

“Family.” I said stopping.

“Yeah my mommy, daddy, and my little brother.”

“But I thought there were only five Lamasas in the world.”

“No that lie.” We were at the end of the cave and there was light!

“Wow, where are we?” I asked. The trees were purple and the grass was blue.

“You are in Zacou.” The Lamasa said.

“Wow, I’ve never heard about it…”

“Not many people know it.” I looked around and there were some fairies. Maybe Jason’s here!

“Are there any boy fairies here?” I asked.

“Yes, there is two.”

“Can you show me!?” I asked.

“Ok.” The Lamasa walked with me, I kept looking at his feet they were so cute! When he walks it looks like a baby learning to walk!

“Here they are.” The Lamasa said.

“Hello?” I said.

“Huh?” They both turned around and they didn’t look like Jason.

“Are any of you Jason?”

“Nope.”

“Oh, sorry.” I said and then I flew onto a tree.


That was my chapter 2, next chapter you will meet the main bad guy

Lamasa is cute in how he talks, it's so straight to the point. I can see its childlike honesty getting him into trouble later~ I guess we'll see what happens to Zacour when the bad guy shows up. I hope nothing at all....

Here is chapter 3 You get to meet the main bad guy. The next chapter the main bad guys gets to meet Amethyst.

-Chapter 3-
Akkenai

Master Akkenai!” A servant yelled.

“What is it?” I asked eating the Lamasa I caught.

“We found out what school had all that power at.” I looked at him and then I started to laugh.

“Perfect!”

“We don’t know-“He cut off because I shot him!

“Ma-Master….” I laughed as he tried to stand up.

“Why….would you…..do…this…to me?” He asked as his eyes started to close.

“Because you already gave me the info I needed.” I said smirking.

“I could have…..helped….you…….more…” I walked up to him; he smiled and put his hand in the air thinking I would help him up.

“You don’t know me at all.” I said. I pointed the gun at him and then….

“PEEW!”

“Hahahahahah, he’s dead! He’s dead!” I yelled out happily.

“Why did you do that, I’ll come after you now!” That annoy person in my head said.

“Why don’t you show yourself!?” I yelled.

“Yeah!” The other voice in my head said. Then I saw someone I ran towards them.

“Go away!” I yelled. I hit them with my fist and they disappeared. I fell to the floor and started to cry.

“Why is everyone so mean, why are they so mean to me!?” I yelled.

“Because you’re insane!” The voice in my head yelled.

“What are you talking about!?” I yelled as the tears fell.

“I’m coming after you, I’m coming after you, I’m coming after you….” The voice in my head said.

“Help me, there’re scary!” I yelled with a bunch of tears.

“Master Akkenai!” My favorite servant yelled. Her name is Lilly, she has long purple hair, wings, and she was in her maid outfit. I think she’s my favorite because she reminds me of someone.

“Are you ok!?” She asked coming over to me.

“They were here again…” I said whipping my tears.

“Did they break the mirror?” She asked.

“Yes, one of them were their and I think I tried to attack them but they teleported.”

“It’s ok master.” She said still kneeling next to me.

“I don’t know what they want from me…” I said.

“Was “he” there?” Lilly asked. “No, not this time.”

“Ok.” She said. She helped me up and saw the dead servant.

“What happened to him?” She asked.

“He was useless.”

“D-Did you kill him!?” She asked.
“Yes, of course.”

“Why!?” She asked.

“He gave me all the info he had.”

“But he was my boyfriend!” As soon as she said that, that made me even angrier!

“Your what!?” I yelled.

“M-My boyfriend.” She said starting to get scared.

“I thought I told you I was your only friend!!!!”

“What’s wrong with you master!? I’ve never seen you like this!”

“I’m glad he’s dead!” I yelled pointing a gun at her.

“Master please don’t hurt me!” She yelled. I walked up to her and the gun was touching her forehead.

“If you do something like that again…I’ll kill you!”

“I’m so sorry master!” She cried. I moved the gun out of the way and then yelled.
“This is your warning!” I pressed the gun and then…

“PEEEW!”

“Aaaaahhh!” She yelled holding her arm. I dropped the gun on the floor and started to cry.

“Lilly, who did this to you!?” She looked at me weirdly and then she moved out of the way.

“Get away!”

“Lilly what happened!?”

“You know what happened!” She yelled.

“No I don’t, why are you being mean to me?” I asked. I curled up in a ball and started to rock back and forth.

“Who hurt you?”

“He doesn’t remember?” Lilly whispered. I could barely hear what she said, I was doing was crying.



He was eating the Lamasa's mom not the Lamasa in Zacou. In Chapter 3 Akkenai gets to meet Amethyst and the Lamasa. I will hopefully post one chapter a day.

Here is the 4th chapter

-Chapter 4-
Powers

“Amethyst?” The Lamasa said looking at me.

“What is it?” I asked still sad that Jason wasn’t here.

“Are you ok?”

“No not really…” I said looking at me feet. The Lamasa was about to say something until I heard a sound that sounded like an ambulance.

“WARNING! THEY ARE HERE! HIDE NOW!!!!!” A voice yelled.

“AAAAHHHH!!!” Everyone yelled. I jumped off the tree and ran into the crowed: There weren’t a lot of people in the crowed. I looked for the Lamasa and he was lying on the floor. I quickly ran over and he was unconscious!

“Lamasa wake up!” I shook him and he didn’t do anything! I tried to pick him up but he was too heavy.

“No, no, no! Wake up there’re coming!” I yelled. I have no idea who they are but a person yelled it and everyone ran away so I guess it’s something bad.

“I’m going to get someone to help you!” I told him. I quickly ran to find people but they were all gone! I flew around and there was fire everywhere! I flew some more and I saw the Lamasa was still near the tree. I looked around and saw someone! I flew as fast as I could. Someone has to help me carry the Lamasa!

“Someone!” I yelled, I landed and they saw me.

“Lilly?” He said. I looked at him. He had light brown sort of messy hair, a black robe, a red cape, and brown eyes. He reminded me of…never mind

“Can you please help me?” I asked him.

“You’re not Lilly…Why would I help a stupid fairy like you!?” he yelled.

“Because they are coming and there’re going to kill a baby Lamasa!”

“A Lamasa…” He asked.

“Yes, please! Help me!”

“Do you even know who I am?” He asked.

“No, but I need someone’s help before they come!”

“You’re a foolish girl.” He said.

“What are you talking about!?” He wacked me and I fell to the floor. Right then I knew that he wasn’t going to help me…He was one of them…He wasn’t even a fairy!

“I’m Akkenai.”

“Why did you tell me your name?” I asked standing up.

“Well, I think you should know the name of the person who kills you.”

“What!?” I yelled moving backwards.

“After I kill you I will kill the Lamasa, and then everyone here!” Akkenai laughed. He moved his hand a fire came shooting out of it! I thought we only had the power of wind! But I guess because he’s not a fairy he can use a different power….I jumped in the air and tried to fly a different way from the Lamasa.

“You can’t escape from me!” Akkenai yelled. He jumped in the air and wings came out! His wings were kinda broken so he had trouble flying. He must have been fighting a lot to break his wings….

“Tell me where the Lamasa is!” Akkenai yelled.

“I will never tell you where the Lamasa is!” I yelled flying faster.

“AMETHYST!” The Lamasa yelled. Oh no! Akkenai landed and I chased after him.

“Well, well, well if it isn’t a baby Lamasa.”

“Amethyst help me…” He said moving backwards.

“Lamasa…” I whispered.

“Now I can kill you and then your little friend.” Akkenai said to the Lamasa.

“My friend have name!” The Lamasa yelled.

“Oh, and what is it?” Akkenai asked evilly. He started to take out something…It was a gun!

“Her name are Amethyst….Amethyst Lamasa!” The Lamasa yelled trying to be a hero. Akkenai stepped backwards and looked at me.

“L-Lamasa….”

“Yeah, and now you’re going to pay for everything you’ve ever done!” I yelled. Akkenai just stood there thinking. Maybe he was thinking about how to kill me and the baby Lamasa….The Lamasa looked at Akkenai and said. “She strong, she will hurt you….She save us all!”

“Shut up you baby!” Akkenai yelled whacking the Lamasa with the gun. I quickly ran over to the Lamasa.

“Why do you protect these creatures?” Akkenai whispered.

“Because, he is my friend.” I said looking at Akkenai.

“Why would you do this….It was because of them the war started!” Akkenai yelled crying. I looked at the Lamasa.

“Don’t listen to him, he lying.”

“Don’t listen to it! I don’t want to lose you again!” He yelled.

“What are you talking about!?” I asked.

“I can’t lose you!” He yelled falling the floor.

“I don’t believe anything you say!”

“Listen to ME!” He yelled pointing the gun at me.

“H-He’s insane…” I whispered.

“Don’t you recognize me!?” He yelled.

“…..No, all I see is a murder!”

“How could you say that!?” He yelled. He pulled the trigger of the gun and then the Lamasa jumped in the way!

“NOOOOO!!!!” I yelled.

“Why do you believe it more than me!?” Akkenai yelled.

“I don’t even know you…AND I DON’T WANT TO!!!!!” I yelled. Amethyst stood up and there was wind everywhere!

“You’re evil; the war was no ones fault!” Amethyst yelled.

“It is her….” Akkenai whispered. The wind was everywhere.

“Tell me this!? Who are you really!?” Amethyst yelled.

“I’m…I’m….your”

“I know you know me from somewhere, but where!?” Amethyst was about to use a wind spear until Akkenai yelled.

“I know you….because I’m Jason!” Akkenai yelled. It all made sense now…He knew her because they were friends, he didn’t want to lose her again because they were separated by the war.

“Jason! Why did you kill so many people!?” Amethyst yelled.

“My dad, he said if I didn’t he would kill me!”

“Your dad died! So you don’t have to kill anymore or ever!” Amethyst yelled crying. She fell to the floor all the wind disappeared.

“I need to kill, I love killing!” Jason yelled in an insane voice.

“You don’t need to….” Amethyst said on the floor crying. Jason looked at her and said.

“You are…” He pointed the gun at her and shot!

“Aaaaaah!” Amethyst yelled falling to the floor.

“Jason…Why?” Amethyst asked holding her shoulder.

“Come to me when you can control your power, and when you want to help me kill.” Amethyst fell to the floor and passed out.

“I still care for you…” Jason said looking at her. Instead of sounding insane he sounded like a friend. Jason left and I quickly ran over to Amethyst.

~Chapter 5~
Jake's Story

“Amethyst?” A familiar voice asked me. I opened my eyes and I saw the little kid that I saved in school!

“….Huh?”

“You’re ok!” He said happily. I sat up and then felt pain in my shoulder.

“Agh!” I yelled holding my shoulder.

“It’s ok Amethyst.” The little kid said.

“How did you find me?” I asked.

“I was following you.”

“What!? You know that is it dangerous!”

“I’m not as young as you think I am.” The kid said flying over to a table with some cleaning stuff on it.

“How old are you anyway umm…”

“I’m Jake, and I’m one-hundred and fifteen.”

“What!? You look like a little kid!” I yelled.

“I know, and at school I act like one.” Jake said moving some boxes.

“Why do you look so young?” I asked.

“I went into a forest when I was six.”

“And then what happened?”

“Well, no one was allowed over there and I went anyway. I crashed into a tree and this weird glowing stuff landed all over me. Then I was this age forever.”

“What about the scar?”

“In the war….” Jake said looking away from me. For some reason that wasn’t good enough for me so I asked.

“Can you tell me the story?”

“I guess…Only because you saved me I can tell you….” He said.
"I heard yelling and screaming. I still looked like a six year old. I walked out and saw fire everywhere! I quickly ran over to the king’s house and I saw him and his son Jason talking. I opened the door and I saw all this…"

“Daddy!” Jason yelled hiding his head.

“Why would you do that!?” He yelled and all the tears came.

“They were after me!” The king yelled with the knife still in his hand.

“No one’s after you!” Jason yelled.

“Now you need to finish the rest of them!” The king yelled.

“Daddy I can’t fight in a war!” He yelled.

“Yes you can.” He said handing Jason his gun.

“If you don’t kill them I’ll kill you!” The king yelled even louder. Jason went outside and looked back. The king quickly came up to him and ripped his wings so he couldn’t fly very well.

“Aaaaaahhh!” Jason yelled.

“Kill the people with my knife as well.” The king handed Jason the knife and then the king left.

“D-Do I have to do this? Will Amethyst still be my….friend?” I moved and then Jason heard me! He opened the door and saw me!

“I guess I have to.” He whispered.

“No! Jason please don’t!” I yelled.

“I have to or daddy will kill me.” Jason said crying. He pulled out the knife and without looking he cut my face.

“Aaaaaahhh!” I yelled.

“I’m sorry but I have to….” Jason said. Jason opened his eyes and saw me on the floor!

“Aaaaaahhh!” He yelled.

“Jason help me.” I said reaching my hand out.

“I can’t!” He yelled shooting me in the shoulder.

“Jason…Why….?” I asked even if I knew the answer.

“That wasn’t hard.” Jason said. Jason left and I passed out.

“And that was my story” Jake said.

“What happened at the end?” I asked.

“Someone found me and raised me and asked about why I didn’t grow or age.” Jake said. I couldn’t think of what to say to him so I asked.

“Did you help my Lamasa?”

“I did all I could.” Jake said.

“Can you show me!?” I asked.

“I guess…But walk slowly.”

“Right.”

~Chapter 6~
The Forest

“Here he is.” Jake said. I slowly walked over holding my shoulder and saw my Lamasa! He was all white instead of indigo!

“Oh no!” I cried. I ran over to him ignoring my shoulder.

“Amethyst don’t run!” Jake yelled.

“Lamasa!” I fell to the floor in front of him.

“I’m sorry but he’s going to die tonight.” Jake said looking into my eyes.

“No! I won’t let it happen!” I cried.

“Amethyst….” Jake said flying over.

“Stay away from me!” I yelled.

“Amethyst don’t!” Jake yelled. I used some wind and I felt so much pain in my shoulder!

“AMETHYST!” Jake yelled blowing away. I ran away as fast as I can. I jumped in the air and started to fly. I flew and flew in the rain.

“ZZZZZZZPPPP!” The lightning came down and hit me!

“Aaarrrrhhh!!!!” I yelled falling. I woke up from the sunlight.

“Jake….Jason…Lamasa…..” I woke up and looked around. I was in a forest! But it wasn’t a normal forest…The trees were red, purple, yellow, blue, and indigo. The grass was orange. “Where am I?” I mumbled to myself. I walked around and saw the biggest tree ever! It was way bigger than any tree ever! It was glowing too. For some reason this place seemed familiar.

“Is this where Jake was one-hundred and fifteen years ago?” I asked no one. I walked closer to it and it threw me backwards!

“This is weird…”

“Who is this?” A child’s voice asked.

“I don’t know.” Another younger child’s voice said.

“I-I’m Amethyst Lamasa.” I said holding my shoulder.

“Lamasa?” The first voice asked.

“Yes.” I said.

“We haven’t have visitors in a while.”

“Can you help me?” I asked holding in my tears.

“What do you need help with?” They asked the same time.

“Two things, one is finding my way out of this place and the second is to help my pet Lamasa.”

“Ok, but you must help us.”

“Ok.” I said. The both came out one of them was a ten year old kid I’m guessing he’s older than he looks. And the other one was a girl she looked around the age of eight.

“What do you need help with?” I asked.

“Karuson has come.” The little girl said.

“Who’s that?” I asked.

“Karuson steals your memories if you show any emotion.” The boy said.

“What’s so bad about that? He could get rid of your memories of the war.” I said.

“He’s evil! He steals your memories only the good memories and plays mind games!” The little girl yelled.

“Oh…” I said.

“If you don’t believe us we will show you!” The little girl cried.

“No, it’s ok.” I said.

“Kendra it’s ok.” The boy said.

“It’s not!” She said falling to the floor.

“Kendra go play and I’ll show this Lamasa.” The boy said and when he said Lamasa it had the sound of hatred.

“Ok….” She said leaving.

“What’s with her?” I asked.

“Karuson took her memories and played mind games with her two years ago.”

“Wait, you mean she’s still a little kid!?”

“Yes, she doesn’t go near the tree.” I’m guessing he knew that I knew about the age thing.

“I guess she wants to age….” I said.

“Yeah.”

“I was wondering…Does Karuson work with Jas- I mean Akkenai?”

“Sometimes.” The little kid said.

“I guess I’ll have to fight Karuson to help the little girl.”

“Don’t fight him; we need information about the war.” The boy said looking at me.

“What! But he stole the girl’s memories!” I yelled.

“I know….He does it to everyone.”

“Fine… I’ll get the information and then come back.”

“Yes, and don’t fight him. Kendra has good memories of me and her playing in this forest.”

“Ok, but where is Karuson?” I asked.

“He’s inside the cave up a head.”

“But what if he comes out?” I asked.

“He never comes out, people come to him.”

[Nanashi]

I haven't had a chance to read the rest yet but that bad guy is INSANE!! Not that I'm one to talk....>_>

Karuson

“Ok as long as everyone’s safe.” I walked still holding my shoulder and then I saw the cave. I took a deep breath and entered it.

“Well, well, well, if it isn’t a Lamasa.”

“I’m a fairy not a Lamasa!” I said.

“I know, your last name is Lamasa.”

“Yes.” I said. How does he know that?

“You know you showed an emotion.” He said. He was right! Oh no! I thought of one of my favorite memories of me and Jason playing and then it was gone!

“There we are; what a dumb memory.” He said.

“What happens if I show different emotions?” I asked.

“Well, if you show angry I steal a memory and I will replace it with an angry memory, if you show sadness you lose a memory and replace it with something sad, and so on.” Karuson said. He came out of the shadows and he was really creepy! He had seven arms, hard skin like a cockroach! Big teeth like a tiger, a tiny head with one big eye.

“If you show fear I will steal on of your memories and replace it with a memory of fear.”

“Tell me about the war.” I said without showing any emotion.

“The war?” Karuson asked coming closer.

“Yes.” I said.

“Fine.” He said coming as close as he could without going into the sun. His tiny head was right in front of me. If I showed fear I would lose a memory.

“When I was little-“He stopped.

“Why are you stopping” I asked.

“You have to pay me.”

“How?” I asked.

“You must give me your favorite memory.” He said.

“WHAT!? No way!” I yelled.

“You showed angrier!” He laughed. I stopped.

“I’m going to take your favorite memory, or do you not want to know about the war?” He asked.

“I do want to know.” I said.

“Good, this is the last time you will ever get that memory.” Karuson said. I thought….My favorite memory ever….Me and Jason were playing with his dad’s cat. We flew around and laughed….Jason gave me a birthday present…It was a hug. I tried to think of it again…It was gone! I wanted to cry but I knew if I did I would lose more memories.

“Now tell me the story.” I said.

“Ok.” He said. I think he was surprised I didn’t yell or cry.

“When I was little, nothing really happened…Now I was in the war fighting for my life.” He said with his one big opened not blinking just looking at me.

“I fought and fought and then I couldn’t stand the fighting anymore. So I left and ran into the forest. The forest was normal until I entered it. I’ve always looked like this. I entered the forest and I dropped a necklace from the queen. I stole it from her, and it fell on the tree and then everything changed.”

“I didn’t give up my memory to hear your life story; I want to hear about the war.” I said showing no emotion.

“I don’t know anything about it.” He said.

“Can you tell me what made Jason like he is today?” I asked.

“You already know the answer child.”

“I do, thank you sir.” I said.

“I can’t let you leave.” Karuson said blocking the way.

“Why?” I asked.

“Because, you know too much.” Karuson said. I looked at him and he looked at me.

“Let me pass.”

“No way!” He yelled. I think he’s trying to get me mad so he can steal another memory. I walked passed him.

“You have passed my test.” Karuson said looking at me with his one big eye.

“What test?” I asked trying to hide my happiness.

“I do this with everyone who comes here, they get scared and start crying and then they lose all their memories. You are the second person ever to leave without showing any emotion.”

“Second?”

“Yes, there was a little kid named Jake he didn’t lose any memories at all.” Jake….

“So what you said about the necklace was-“

“Yes a lie.”

“Then tell me the story.”

“Ok, but you don’t need to hide your emotions anymore. I promise.”

“Really!?” I asked yelling like a little girl.

“Yes.” He said. I didn’t lose a memory I can tell when I do; it feels like someone is in your brain poring water on it.

“What do you want to know about the war?” Karuson asked.

“Everything you know.”

“I know everything about it; I steal people’s memories’.”

“Then about this forest, my father, and Jason’s father.” I said looking into his eye.

“Ok then.”

“Thank you.” I said. It’s weird for some reason he trusts me.

“It was a long time before I knew anything about this forest and why people don’t age if the get that stuff from the tree on you.” I looked at him

“Are you going to tell me or not?”

“I wish I could, but the only one in the world who knows about it was Jake.” I was shocked.

“Jake…..” I whispered.

“Yes, he’s the only one whose memories I didn’t get.”

“Why are you being nice to me?” I finally asked.

“Because…You’re different from the rest.” Karuson said.

“Different from the rest?”

“Yes.”

“How?”

“You have a-“His sentence cut off and the ground started shaking!

“What’s going on!?” I yelled.

“Run before it’s too late!” Karuson yelled.

“What but I need to know more about my dad and Jason’s dad!” I yelled.

“GO!” He yelled.

“No I can’t!” I yelled.

“You fool! Go or I will steal all of your memories and then kill you!” He yelled. I looked at him but then I ran away.

“ROAHHHH!” The thing in the cave yelled. I started to fly until someone tackled me!

“Get away!” I yelled. I looked up and it was Jason! How did he get in here?

“Amethyst?” He asked.

“Jason?”

“Go away!” He yelled throwing me away. I landed on the floor and crashed into the really big tree.

“Get away from that!” Kendra yelled. The stuff was falling down on me, I was in so much pain…My best friend is evil he threw me into a tree, I lost some memories…I was also on the floor with a broken wing, and my shoulder is still hurt from when Jason shot me!

“Get away from it! No one but me and James!” I looked up and the tree was glowing even more!

“No!” Kendra yelled.

“Kendra stay away from it!” James yelled he tackled her and looked at me.

“What’s going on!? Someone help!” I yelled.

However, Is there any way you could reduce the amount of conversation, perhaps add in a description of a discussion? This would kinda even the difference out between the two.

Hidden

“Help someone I don’t know what’s going on!” I looked and I saw Jason and Karuson fighting!

“She’s unlocked it….” Someone said. They sounded like they were behind the tree. Was it James? No he was with Kendra...

“Arrrhhhh!!!!” I yelled. Wind was everywhere! Am I doing this!?

“Stay away from everyone!” I yelled. Wind everywhere Jason went flying and Karuson was melting!

“Take my memories child….” He said. He really wants me to know something, why else would he give me them for free.

“What’s going on Karuson?” I asked wind still everywhere.

“Your dad….”

“Dad what!?” I asked knocking over Jason.

“Take them!” He yelled. I felt all the memories he ever stole and I knew them all I even got my memories back!

“Jason!” I yelled. I quickly flew over and I was about to use some wind but I couldn’t! He was my best friend in the world!

“Stay away from me you Lamasa!” He yelled.

“Tell me! Why did you kill my Lamasa?” I yelled.

“Because! It jumped in the way!” He yelled. I picked him up and threw him away. My power was everywhere the ground was shaking still.

“ROAHHHH!!!!” The thing in the cave yelled. It finally came out and it was weird. Its head was like a potato, it had two horns kinda like a
Buffalo, it was really big, it had a dragon’s tail, a really big scar across its chest. It had fire coming from its hands, it was gray and it was angry! It broke the cave. Karuson was almost fully melted now he said one last thing.

“You have unlocked your hidden power….Defeat the Samula….” It saw me and ran towards me!

“Get away from her!” Jason yelled taking out his gun.

“Jason don’t be a fool!” I yelled pushing him away. The Samula moved its hand and threw a fire ball. I jumped out of the way. The Samula moved its hand and wacked me! I went flying into the big tree and broke it!

“Amethyst, you FOOL!” Jason yelled. Sometimes Jason acts like he hates me and it is war and then sometimes he acts like my friend. This time he was acting like he hates me.

“What did I do!?” I yelled as the Samula was on the floor it was having trouble getting up.

“You just killed everyone who ever used this tree!” He yelled.

“I-I did?” I asked.

“Yes! And you knew I wanted to KILL them!!!!” He yelled. I felt weird after crashing into the tree, like when I first was next to it my cuts disappeared. Now they were coming back. I felt myself growing for some reason!

“She has figured out….” Jason whispered. What does he mean figured out? I looked and saw the Samula was disappearing! It used the tree?

“So much pain….” I said. Everything was getting blurry. I saw Jason running away he looked at me with a sad face but then he left.

“Jason….”

“I’m sorry.” He said. I looked and saw that James was gone. He must have used the tree. Kendra was still there but she left. I tried to stay awake and all I could think about was what Karuson said. “You have unlocked your hidden power….Defeat the Samula….”

“Karuson…I thought you worked for Jason….” I said. Then everything went black and passed out.

Truth

I saw something…It was the forest! I looked around and saw my dad was carrying me…and I was six!

“Don’t worry…Your life will be over soon.” He said. He put me next to the big tree and then he said.

“Your mom knows where you are.” He looked at me once and then went into the cave….My dad was in the cave talking to Karuson.

“Tell me where the king is.” He said.

“Ok, but there’s always a price.” Karuson said.

“What is it?” My dad asked.

“You must give me your favorite memory.”

“What If I give you a different memory and say it’s my favorite?” My dad asked.

“I can tell which one is your favorite.”

“Fine.” My dad gave away his favorite memory. I paid attention to the memory and it had nothing to do with me or mom! It was a twelve year old…I figured out his name was Joshua. He was dad’s first kid! I looked back at where I was. I saw I looked around and then flew up in the air and left.

“DAD!” I yelled waking up. I looked around and I was on the floor of the forest.

“Mom knows something.” I said. I flew up and headed home.

”Amethyst!” My mom yelled hugging me.

“Mom, do you know anything about Joshua?” I asked.

“W-Who?” My mom asked.

“Dad’s first kid.” I said looking at her.

“You’re hurt!” My mom yelled changing the subject.

“Mom, who’s Joshua!?” I yelled.

“I’ll go and get the disinfecting stuff!” My mom yelled running into the bathroom. My mom came out then I asked again.

“Who’s Joshua?”

“You must be tired.” My mom said putting a bandage on me.

“Mom….”

“Enough already!” She yelled.

“Then answer!” I yelled.

“You tell me where you were and what happened!”

“I was in the forest that if you touch a tree you don’t age anymore-”

“You must be so tied.” She said.

“Yeah….I must be…” I said looking at the floor. I walked into my room and fell asleep.

“I know this is all true…My wings still hurt but I have to tell Jake.” I whispered. I came out of my bed and opened my window.

“Sorry mom.” I whispered. I flew out and looked for Jake. Then Jason’s word appeared in my head again. “You just killed everyone who ever used this tree!” Does that mean Jake is….No! I flew as fast as I could but then I landed to where I remember Jake’s house and I saw just clothes on the floor. I looked and saw my Lamasa was dead….I fell to the floor; I couldn’t take it anymore I couldn’t hide my tears any longer!

“It’s all my fault!” I whispered.

“Everyone I loved is dead, and Jason’s insane!!!!!”

“What did I do to deserve this?!” I yelled.

“It’s not my fault….It’s….Not….MY FAULT!!!!!!!” I yelled. I cried and cried.

“Someone help me! Someone show me what to do!” I yelled.

“Please….I’m a murder…..” I whispered.

“I ended up killing Jake, my Lamasa…AND KARUSON!!!!!”

“You’re not alone…” A calm voice said.

“W-Who’s there?” I asked.

“Everyone has done something wrong; you’re a good person you didn’t mean to kill these people.”

“W-Who are you?” I asked.

“I’m Mrs. Kuniko.” I whipped my tears away and saw her walking. She had long orange hair, she was wearing a black robe, and she had green eyes.

“Amethyst.”

“H-How do you know my name?” I asked.

“I’ve been following you after I saw your power at school.”

“School….” I whispered.

“Yes, I’m your new principal.” I didn’t say anything I didn’t even look at her I was holding in my tears.

“You are eight-teen years old.” She said.

“No, I’m fourteen.”

“The tree broke; you are now the same age as Jason.”

“That’s why I grew….” I whispered.

“Let’s get you out of here.” Kuniko said.

“But my mom wants me home still.” I said.

“I know.” She said.

“I’ll see you at school tomorrow.” Kuniko said.

“Ok, well I know how to get home from here.” I said still holding my tears in.

“Ok.” Kuniko said. She flew away and I flew home. I fell into my bed and let all my tears out.

Mom

”Amethyst!” My mom called from down stairs.

“Coming!” I yelled. I sat up and flipped my pillow so my mom won’t ask why it’s wet from tears. I went down stairs and sat at the table and started eating my toast and eggs.

“Are you going to tell me why you let dad carry me to the forest so I couldn’t age?” I asked.

“You know that the forest-“She cut off her sentence and said. “What forest?”

“You know something mom.” I said looking into her eyes.

“Why did you let dad bring me there, why did I still age?”

“I guess I can’t hide it from you anymore…..”

“You can’t hide anything, I know Jason knows too.”

“It was a long time ago…” She said.

“Tell me, why did dad bring me there?” I asked.

“Your father didn’t want to take care of you anymore, so he put you in the forest and hoped you would never wake up…”

“Please tell me more.” I whispered.

“But he didn’t know that you had a hidden power, you woke up and left before the ageing was complete…” I looked at her. Hidden power…Ageing…Complete?

“Before I gave you some soup that made you pass out, you came back a few years later and Jason was older than you. He made sure
That you would think the forest was all a dream.”

“Jason knew the whole time….I always wondered why an eight year old was playing with a six year old.” I said.

“Then I missed my little girl I wanted you to be older, so I made you use your hidden power. That made you four-teen.” She said.

“How did you know I had a hidden power?” I asked.

“When your dad was at work you got mad at me when you were two. Then you used it on me…”

“I’m sorry mom.” I said.

“It’s ok.”

“C-Can I ask you about Joshua? And why dad loved him more than me?”

“W-Who’s Joshua?” My mom asked.

“Uhhh…No one I have to get to school!” I said quickly leaving. As I flew to school I couldn’t stop thinking about the people I killed….Jake…Lamasa….James…Kendra….I don’t think I killed Kendra but I broke her heart… And then I crashed into someone.

“Owwww….Sorry.” I said standing up. Who did I crash into? I looked around and I was in school!

“Amethyst?” Kuniko said.

“Oh I’m sorry; I have to get to my class!” I said quickly leaving. As I walked down the school halls I saw people happy and laughing. They Looked at me weirdly when I walked by, no one but Kuniko and Jason know what I’ve been through. Everyone looked at me and then they knew I was part of the Lamasa family so they turned their heads away. I walked down the hallway and saw when I first met Jake. I held into my tears and walked to class. Jake…Why? Karuson…Why did I even care about him? I sat down and listened to Alex.

“Look at her wings she didn’t even shine them. She’s even sitting on books to make her self look older.” Brook whispered.

“Ewwww…Why does she have bandages all over her wings?” Rachel asked.

“To make the Lamasa family laugh, she thinks she’ll become a princess and live happily ever after but this is the real world!” Ashley said. I ignore them; there comments are not as mean as before now that I figured out about Jason, my hidden power, and the forest I have to do something….I have to do this for Jason! I stood up and faced them.

“I’m tired of you guys picking on people!” I yelled.

“A Lamasa thinks she can hurt us?!” Ashley asked.

“Yes, with my hidden power I can beat you guys!”

“Lamasa! Sit down!” Alex yelled.

“We’ll fight after school.”

“Deal.” I said shaking her hand. It was time to finish this. I walked to the back of the school. They were all waiting.

“Are you ready?” I asked.

“Yes.” Ashley said.

“Ready? FIGHT!” Rick yelled. Ashley started with a jump and then wind was everywhere. I jumped over it and used a wind wave.

“My hair!!!” She yelled.

“Do you need my help?” Her boyfriend asked.

“No I can do this.” I jumped and flipped and came behind her and pushed her onto the floor.

“No fair, no fair!” Brook and Rachel came running and I jumped in the air and they both went flying. I landed.

“Ugh, I can’t believe a Lamasa won!” Brook yelled.

“See I told you a Lamasa could win.” I said.

“Ugh whatever!” They all yelled and then they left. I smiled as they left.

“They shouldn’t bother you anymore.” Kuniko’s voice said from behind me.

“Yeah.”

“Why did you come out here?” I asked.

“How much do you know?”

“What do you mean?” I asked.

“How much information did Karuson give you?”

“All of it, anyway do you know who Joshua is?”

“All of it….”Kuniko whispered.

“Yeah, I’m pretty sure you knew.”

“Oh that’s ok, bye.” She said quickly and then she left. After school I was going to the library and then I heard someone….

“Who’s there!?” No one came out I just walked and then I felt a hand! It went around my mouth and then I saw a knife in the person’s hand! The stabbed me in the back and then they said.

“I’m sorry Amethyst, Karuson give you too much information…Now you must die.”

“K-Kuniko?” I barely said.

“Yes, you are going to change the Lamasa name if you live any longer.”

“But…I just wanted to change….” I said. Kuniko took the knife out and ran away. I fell to the floor.

“I will change the Lamasa name….And I will help Jason!” I cried. I stood up. I flew home and went inside my room without my mom seeing me. I took a bandage and put it on. Now I had bandages on
my shoulder, back, and wings. I went down stairs hoping my mom would tell me about Joshua.

“Mom, can we talk?” I asked.

“Ok dear.” She said. I think she knew what I was going to talk about.

“Mom, who’s Joshua?” I asked looking into her green eyes.

“I guess secrets always come out…..”

“Please tell me.”

“I’m only telling you because I love you.”

“Please and if you wan to you can tell me why a prince like Jason was friends with a peasant like me.”

“Well this all started when I was twenty-six.”

“Two of them, and there both twins.” I said happily.

“I can’t believe we had a girl!” My husband yelled.

“What’s so wrong about it? We have a boy and a girl.”

“You know what? Why don’ you give your girl the Lamasa name?”

“Why!?” I yelled.

“Because, everyone knows that our family name have never had a Girl who lived through birth!”

“But that’s because she’s different.” I said.

“What’s so different about her!?”

“Well one, she lived through birth, and two she has a hidden power.”

“How can you tell!?” My husband yelled.

“It’s because I could tell as soon as she-“

“Don’t say that!” He yelled. Whacking me across the face.

“Our boy Jason has the hidden power!”

“Ugh, we’ve had them for two years already and you keep saying the same thing!” I yelled.

“Ugh! Go away I never want to see you again!” He yelled.

“Fine!” I yelled grabbing Amethyst.”

“Mom, are you saying me and Jason are…Brother and sister!?”

“Yes.”

“Then, who’s Joshua?” I asked.

“Joshua was me and your other father’s kid. After the king kicked me out me and your father met.”

“This is so weird…”

“I know…”

“Why did dad, let me and Jason hang out still?”

“Jason was begging his dad so his, your dad told him just pretend you’re friends. Not brother and sister.”

“This is so weird….”

“I’m sorry I never told you before.”

“It’s ok, but what happened to Joshua?”

“He died.”

“How?”

“He died of Cancer….”

“Why did I never see him before?” I asked.

“Because everyday when you would wake up your father would take him for a walk, and then your father was getting tired of all of that so he brought you to the forest….”

“But I broke out and at that time Joshua must have died.” I said.

“Correct.”

“Thank you for telling me this mom.” I said and then I went into my room. “Kuniko knows that I know too much…So…I have to run away…” I whispered. I packed everything and then flew out the window. I already left mom a note.

Brother Vs. Sister

“Jason, I need to tell him no matter what happens!” I yelled. I knew I was going insane from all of this. I didn’t care I had to tell Jason everything! I had to help him! I flew as fast as I could to find Jason.

“What!?” I yelled.

“I’m sorry but there’s nothing we can do.” Lilly said.

“But what if Kuniko doesn’t kills her!?”

“That’s a chance we have to take.”

“No! She is causing too much trouble. I guess…I have to kill her…” I said.

“But isn’t she your sister?”

“Yes.”

“Then why do you want her dead?”

“She knows too much of everything, I think of her as a dead friend!” I yelled.

“You don’t even care about her anymore!”

“I don’t c-care at all!” I yelled Lying of course.

“Fine, I quit! I have helped you even when you saw your father, who is dead! You’re insane! You want to kill your sister!” Lilly cried.

“Why do you even care what I do!?”

“Because I had a brother before, I had a brother before you killed him!”

“I thought I killed your boyfriend!” I yelled.

“You did, you also killed my little brother!” Lilly yelled running away.

“Stay out; I never want to see you again!”

I was flying and I saw someone who looked like me; but a lot of fairy girls have purple hair. But she flew away crying. I had to figure out why. I can find out where Jason lives later…I landed and it was in the forest, and the doors to an old brick house were open.

“Dad! Go away!” A familiar voice yelled.

“Huh?” I looked through the open doors and no one was there but a man.

“Why did you make me fight!?”

“Are you ok?” I asked walking over to him.

“Amethyst!” He yelled he turned around and it was Jason!

“Jason, brother! I have to tell you about what mom told me!”

“Brother…She knows…” He whispered.

“I can’t believe I found you!”

“No, this will be the last time you will see me!

“Jason what are you talking about?”

“You know too much about me, and Karuson must have told you stuff as well.” Oh great! If I never met Karuson I would never have to do this!

“Jason, I need to help you.” I said coming closer.

“No!” He yelled.

“Jason what’s wrong?”

“I need to kill you! And then your mom so only I would know this!”

“Jason please, you don’t have to do this.”

“Yes I have to!” He yelled attacking me with fire!

“H-How do you know how to use fire!?” I yelled.

“I was different too!” He yelled jumping towards me. He hit me in the face! It was still night and the rain started to pour. There were still some lights inside the wear house. I jumped towards Jason.

“I’m sorry about what happened! But put it all behind you!” I yelled hitting him in the face. He moved back and used a fire ball. He threw it and I just dodged it! I could feel the fire burn a few pieces of hair it was like slow-motion.

“I can’t! If your dumb mom never had you I would have been happy and so would dad!” Jason yelled. He took out his knife! I didn’t want to fight him but I knew I had to!

“Jason, put everything behind you!” I cried the tears fell to the floor.

“I can’t! If I kill you and mom dad will come back!” Me and Jason are eight-teen why does he think everything will be fine!?

“Jason! I know both dad’s I had hated me, but I just put it behind!” I jumped ignoring the pain in my back from when Kuniko stabbed me. Me and Jason brought the battle outside in the rain.

“I don’t care! I need a happy ending!” He cried.

“Jason even I you kill me and mom! You won’t get a happy ending! Everything will get worse! I know what it feels like to have killed someone!”

“SHUT UP!!!!” He yelled jumping towards me with his knife. I jumped and he cut off my left wing!

“Aaaaaahhh!!!!” I yelled. That’s one shape knife….

“Jason….YOU WON’T GET A HAPPY ENDING IF YOU KILL ME AND MOM!!!!”

“I will!” He yelled running towards me. I was shaking from fear so was Jason. I jumped and kicked Jason in the head and he went flying. He crashed into the building. I landed and tried to unlock my hidden power but not all of it because I can’t kill him!

I was next to my building and then I took out my gun.

“I’m not sorry Amethyst.” I said pointing it at her. Then she started to glow!

“Your hidden power.” I whispered.

“Yes, and I will finish you.” She said. There was wind all around her you could barely see her! I pressed the trigger and the bullet went! I saw the bullet go…and then….It bounced off! She flew towards me faster then you could blink your stupid human eye! She used wind to knock me over.

“Aaaarrrgggghhhh!!!!” I yelled trying not to fall.

“What is wrong with you? You want to kill your sister?”

“There’s nothing wrong with it!” The voice that always agrees with me said.

“She used to be your best friend, you even begged your dad to play with her.”

“Shut up!!!! You two are wrong!” I yelled. Amethyst jumped back and saw that I never got any sleep because of these voices.

“Whatever I do is what I choose to do!” I yelled.

“But it’s the wrong chose!”

“It’s not!” I yelled. I took out my gun a put it to my head.

“Now you can’t annoy me if I kill myself!” I yelled.

“Jason don’t!” Amethyst yelled losing all her power. I was about to pull the trigger and Amethyst was running towards me. Everything was slow-motion…I pulled the trigger and then…..

“Jason!!!!!” I yelled jumping towards him.

“PEEEWWW!!!!” The gun went off. Jason fell to the floor and so did I. I sat up and Jason wasn’t bleeding! I looked and saw the bullet it went through one of the trees. The gun was on the floor. Jason’s hand went to grab it and then I quickly grabbed it from him.

“I won’t let you die.” I told him. He reached his hand out for something.

“I won’t kill myself.” He said. He grabbed the gun and then shot!

“Aaaaarrrgggghhh!!!!” I yelled flying backwards. He shot my right through my stomach. I reached my hand out and grabbed the gun from his hands as I fell. He ran towards me ready punch me I pointed the gun and short him in the stomach! We both fell to the floor the same time. It was silent for a while I still had the gun in my hand me and Jason couldn’t stand up. I knew that this was a perfect time to talk to him; he couldn’t run and kill himself. Unless he has his…KNIFE! I looked from on the floor and the knife was in front of me.

“Why would care?” He asked.

“Because they can get rid of the voices in your head….”

“Really?” He asked crying.

“Yes, and you can help me…We can be…Prince and Princess of the land.”

“Then we could be happy?” He asked.

“Yes, we would be happy but you have to put everything of the war and dad behind you.”

“But he made me fight…when I was…Eight….”

“It’s ok.” I said.

“I missed you sis.” He said. I sat up and so did Jason we came over and hugged. I left the gun and knife on the floor and then he helped me home. As he flew me home I asked.

“Jason do you know why Kuniko tried to kill me?”

“Yes, she tired to because I told her too.” Jason said. I’m pretty sure Jason was being nice to me because he knows that mom can buy something to get rid of the voices in his head.
Six years later…..
Amethyst and Jason are 24


“I told you, you would be happy.” I said smiling.

“You were right.” Jason said.

“Do your best you too.” The queen said. Who is me and Jason’s mom.

“We will.” I said smiling. I was still sad that my Lamasa died and that Jake died and Karuson…Even dad…But I had to get over it. You can’t live your whole life blaming yourself. Me and Jason did all we could to help everyone. We gave money away and helped people. That was what did. We could go to jail but we did that instead. We helped people.

“Here are the Prince and Princess of the Lamasa family!” My mom said happily. Me and Jason walked out to face the people.

“We are happy that there have been no wars in six years.” Jason said.

“And no fighting, everyone is safe here.” I said.

“Thank you!” Me and Jason yelled happily. I still couldn’t believe that six years ago me and Jason were fighting. Now everyone is happy and there are no more wars thanks to us.
