Okay, not sure where to start here. First off I suppose is the scripts that I'm using, which there's only two.

Side Battle System:

Ending Credits:
http://www.rpgrevolution.com/forums/index....showtopic=22727

Now, my problem is, when I open up the menu, There are two spots for actors. The main character that's supposed to be there, and another slot with no graphic, set to level one, that mimics whatever class I change my main character too. He is also there in battle, unamed, and unseen. He has the health and mana bars over him tho, and can still attack and be attacked. Ive already checked in the Database at initial party, and it is set to only one person, my main character.

Id really appreciate if someone could tell me what was going on here, and how to fix it to only my main character being there.

This is also my first post, so my bad if somethings wrong here >.>;

Have you gone to the Database and taken out Hero 2 in the System tab? That could be the problem here... maybe?

Maybe you should try getting rid off the two scripts just to see if it's a problem with the scripts you are using or not. People might be able to give you more help that way.

Well, I removed all scripts and tested it again. Its still there. Now I am more confused, as I was sure the battle script was somehow causing it.

Is it possible that you didn't delete the mysterious actor but only their name? I don't have access to RPG Maker XP at the moment but I seem remembering being able to delete the actor's name without deleting the actual actor.

If that doesn't work all I can recommend is to redownload and reinstall the program because that's just weird. huh.gif

Yeah that is kinda messed up.
Try either
Doing the two things Knot suggested
or
Replacing your 'Script.rxdata' file with one from a new game, or just replacing all the default scripts would work too I guess.

I wouldn't go as far as reinstalling it.. ok, go to your starting party in your system tab. now, hghlight your main actor. Hit the down arrow. Hit it again. If it stays in the same spot, then you'll have to replace your system file and script file with one from a new project as redd said, though if you can go down twice, go up one, hit the delete key. then play your game, see if it works then. All else fails, you can email me your game in a zip and I'll do it myself. Or you could get teamviewer and I'll help you.
