So I've been practicing lately with pixel stuff... I want to show you guys something, specially those who are experienced with pixel art. This is something I've been working on today:

So I used another graphic as a template to make this guy:

This is what I did to come up with that character above:
<- Original Character

<- I lowered the opacity and traced the lines, then I added the colors I wanted.

<- here I started editing the hair, removing the sword, etc.

<- This is the final product.

This is basically my first sprite. Of course using another as a base; I can't believe it took me almost 3 hours to do that. xD
So what do you guys think? Any critique or comment is welcome, this is a skill I'd like to improve.

BTW I forgot to change the belt's color >.>

Brilliant biggrin.gif Spriting does take up a lot of time so I can understand about it being three hours to do this.

Looking forward to see your progress on that bust, can I ask what program you're using because from the colour selection on the left it looks more of a Gimp or Photoshop style rather than something like Graphics Gale.

I've not had a close look at the battler but I can do if you like to give you some C&C on it.

I use photoshop. And yes, I'll be glad if you could give me some C&C, I love C&C, it will help me improve my skill.

BTW here's the progress of the last one:

As you can see the colors on the left changed. xD
