I think its just cool that the game didnt die, and its good to see this new member is gonna put in the work to finish it, I look forward to seeing more updates about this game. After all we don't actually have as many games being made as we used to, thats not good or bad just interesting. But the team is stable now right?

Hello all!

Just thought I'd update this thing, with random information!

The team has definitely been working out on the game. Especially the programmer, Star and our new musician, Christina.

The Battle System is about 40% complete. Yes, only 40% complete. It's a lot of hard work for poor Star. He has to get the balancing and AI just right!

I've been hard at work getting the voice actors together. It's so exciting, it's my favorite part! I don't know why - it makes me feel like a Voice Director. Tee-hee.

I wanted to show you how I work. cool.gif

And what I'm really trying to work on is equipment - which STILL is not done. D= I think I may need some help. @_@

Yes, I mentioned that we had a new musician: Christina. Here is one of her songs:

This past weekend, the writer finished all of the scripts for the voice acted scenes. Don't worry, we won't overload you all with VA'd scenes. That would be horrible! XD

I might have mentioned this before, but we also have a concept artist named Cody. He will be designing the weapons and some of the monsters. Here is a sample of his work:

I am currently making a snow ruins tileset for Frosthollow. @_@ It seems like a lot work - even if I'm just putting snow on top of things. XD

I think I'm going have Star create all the exterior maps so I can start putting together cutscenes while he works on the battle system. biggrin.gif

Wait! Maybe we should recruit a mapper! So he won't have to stop his work to help me out! If you're interested, let me know!

Hello!

We are recruiting!

MAPPER
-Basically you will be creating the areas the characters travel to. Normally we would not need this, but our best mapper has his hands full programming the battle system. We would give you the tilesets, and you will be mapping out what we want. happy.gif

Sprite Animator
-This job is a bit more difficult than the previous one. You will be creating animations for the characters in battle. Again, normally we would not need this, but the same guy has a lot on his plate. Some examples of what we are talking about include:

Your Medium Armor related icon looks a bit inconsistent compared to other icons on the list. Also you should probably stick with that style, as it looks more original. smile.gif

Well it seems pretty obvious that she is a plant girl, and the vine tail is just awesome, nice change of pace from most plant style races. She's also pretty adorable.

Everyone seems to be confused rather she is a wood elf or alraune or what. XD

I think we're going to give her an overhaul to make her look cute, but still more plant-like.

Now, I have a question - what should represent a physical attack ability that's NOT a sword (could get confused with real sword icons) or a fist (my bf hates that idea lols)? happy.gif

Well, you could use an 'explosion' icon. You know, one of those "POW" special effects with the yellow light/aura surrounding it.

The pow icon style was what I was going to suggest too XD, and you do have the skill, it's actually fairly simple, just requires you to get in close with some pixels, and I know you can do it.

As far as the plant girl goes, a redesign sounds cool, just don't get rid of that tail, it's really awesome and makes her very unique.
