In my opinion

Cons of RMVXAce are :
1. Not being able to change the critical hit sound effect.
2. The roof tiles are horrible for houses.
3. Should be more options for conditional branches.
4. What happened to the fog?
5. Copying and pasting messes up your auto tiles
6. Still no default animated enemy trooper poses / attack animation
7. You have to convert midi to mp3 or wav, very ridiculous.
Pros of RMVXAce
1. Easy to use.
2. Sprite generator.
3. You can configure more attributes for attacks and states.
4. Dungeon Generator.
5. You can have more tiles than RMVX.
6. You can play movies.

To bad someone can't just hack the actual Rpg Maker Vx Ace code and add more features that Enterbrain left out.
It would be awesome if they could develop a program to convert their ruby scripts to c# so you can run RMVXAce games on XNA.

Whats your opinion?

i dont use rmvxAce, just wanna ask some question

1. cant even look in the script section to change it manually?
how about just change the sound name file ?
2. just get new/other tileset instead of original ?
5. maybe it happen when you use paint program thats not appropriate?
7. how about .ogg ?

They give you a script box.
That's infinite options right there.

Now if only they put script boxes everywhere else.

In the database should be an option to allow MIDI to play. Select that. I haven't tested it out to see how well it works. Some say it works okay, others say it creates a slight delay. But the option for MIDI is there, but the box is unchecked by default.

1. It can be changed.
2. Get public tileset with some better roofs.
3. You can use Label, Jump to Label and the variables to do a lot stuff with the conditions. Like counting items.
4. You can use import your own picture to act as fog.
7. Blaming the software before checking out what it can do. Still converting to MP3 is not that bad idea.
