I started playing this, and there's just one point I'd like to make. As somebody who's played the game you took the facesets from (which would be Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, by the way. You might want to add a credit to Falcom at least), there's a huge disconnect. I don't look at these characters and see Sengal and Alya and Balagan; I see Loewe and Estelle and Agate acting very, very strangely, like they've suffered severe head injuries or something (plus, the face you use for Monique ingame (Which is different from the face you're using in her profile) is actually a guy in drag. Unintentional hilarity ensues.)

I'm not against ripped graphics, but it's probably not a good idea as a general rule to use sprites or facesets from commercial games, especially when there's a lot of good faceset generators available online for free use, many of them specifically for use with RPG Maker. Facemaker may be overused, but at least you don't get your players asking themselves why characters they may recognize are acting in such a bizarre, out of character fashion.

Credited Falcom. I never played Legend of Heroes: Trials in the sky because I cannot find it. I actually forgot to change Monique's face in the post. Also why can't I use the faces? I am not selling my game. I HATE Face Maker because I think the quaility is poor and you cannot make good looking faces. I would have drawn the faces myself but no one online sees my talent and I don't want comments like this for an example:
"LOL faces, I willk not take your game seriously until you change them." I don't want any LOL comments like that because that makes mad and I want people to take my game seriously. I cannot afford to hire a face artist either. I am not mad or taking this the wrong way I just don't understand why I cannot use the faces because I really like them and I am not selling my game.

I like Facemaker, myself, and it's very possible to make good looking faces with it; I know I have. The problem is most people who use it give their characters tiny pupils and weird noses for some reason. If you don't like it, there are alternatives out there, this one for example.

It probably wouldn't bother anyone who hasn't played Trails, but for me, seeing Loewe as Sengal, for example, is like watching David Tennant as Hamlet. He's a wonderfully talented actor, and he does the best Hamlet of our time, maybe of all time. But, I saw him in Doctor Who first, as the Doctor for a good four years. He only left the role recently, so part of me kept anticipating the moment he would whip out a sonic screwdriver and let loose an "Allon-sy!" Likewise, after getting to know these characters so well in Trails in the Sky, seeing their faces plastered on characters with completely different personalities is jarring. Also, seeing "Princess Cecilia" presented as an honest-to-goodness female made me bust out laughing (Poor Joshua...)

I realize this game is finished, and that it's too late to go through now and make big, sweeping changes aside from bug and grammar fixes. I'm pointing this out for future reference.

As a side note, if you have a PSP, Trails in the Sky is required playing. It's the best traditional JRPG of this hardware generation, hands down. It's on the PSN too, so it's not necessary to hunt down a physical copy.

Thank you very much! I actually made up my mind and decided to remake this game with my own artwork. I decided who cares what others may say about my character art as long as the game is enjoyable.

I am currently recuirting people to help me with the remake of these game. The recuirtment topic can be found here:

http://www.rpgdreams.org/t372-eternal-dest...emakerecuirting
You'll need to register at the site to view it and if there is anything you can do to help with the remake please let me know. The remake will have a big change in the story and gameplay.

I don't mean to be rude but I am subscribed to this topic and I got an email that some one replied today to the this topic and when I checked the reply wasn't there. Any reason why? This the second time that has happened and I want it to stop. If I get an email that some one replied I want to see what they said.

From what I can tell about the previous one, the post was completely off topic spam that seemed to be an attempt at pushing religion and the bible, which had nothing to do with the game. The only people with the ability to delete posts are mods and above, which I'm guessing they did in order to keep the thread clean and prevent it from getting out of hand and having to close it down.
