how would i make a event where i need some wood, nails, and a saw
then after i got that the ship appears in the water?

You would need to use conditional branches and variables. I strongly suggest you take a look through the tutorials on this forum before you try to proceed with complex events.

Tutorials and Examples has many tutorials on not just advanced things but for beginners and intermediate levels, there's a pinned topic in that section that you can use to find out about the things mentioned above.

To make an item glow or sparkle on a map, I assume is what you mean?

Like that? ^^^

Pretty simple. This is what you need to do:
First of all, create a new event on the map you wish to have this shiny/sparkly event. Remember to name your events just to make it easier to find them should you need to! Then fill out the event like this:


There's a shiny/sparkly object sheet in the database already, it's listed under !Flame and looks like this:


Be sure that the stepping anim block is checked (this animates the shinyness or whatever).

Make a second tab inside the same event so that it looks like this:

This just prevents the scene from repeating over and over again.

Well here is what you do?

@>conditional Branch: Item in inventory
@>Else
@>Text: You don't have that Item!

(Above)

At the above the else you add the other conditional branch with the other items. That is so far I can tell ya. Its just like the script where you are going to cook or do any type of job. Like other examples: Cooking,fishing,smithing,mining,Harvesting,Cutting. Or check the tutorial on youtube. They have examples. Or click my hidden. Event script

RVX School doesn't show you much but if you want a good tutorial check on youtube they have better resaults......

I will have my new desktop computer in a week. Its a 1g Avertec Desktop. I got it from bestbuy.com So I will hopefully have a better computer to do projects and stuff. Got to love computers now day have the ability to copy stuff right to CD-r's and DVD format. Backing up your projects is easy as 1,2,3.
