Notes
This is actually my first english-languaged game, so do mind me if there are some spelling mistakes. I don't think that they are hurting the game much though.

It's kind of late so I won't deliver an elaborate reply.

First of: great game, I realy had fun while playing it and I'll finish it up for sure.
Overall your maps are enticing and transmit a rather good in-game feeling, though some of the forests are a bit too squary. Your explorable areas are quite fun to travel and were able to dismiss my frustration for not being able to dash. Graphically the game is really impressive - as can be seen in the screenshots.
Your story is enticing and the heroes have noticable personalities.

And I'm dying to know what happens next. The dialogs are well thought and gain life with the character's fantastic drawings, yet (I know this is your first english game) you should ask for someone to help you correct some mistakes. Nevertheless, the dialogs are still fairly well writen.
Concerning the gameplay, the battles are quite simple but still fun. The way the character development works makes you feel in control of the leveling up when entering a shop I don't feel overwhelmed with the number of weapons or armors. Don't worry with the lack of feedback as it only means people are not complaining about the game biggrin.gif.
Good luck with you next project. And congratulations on your first post/english game.

Thanks man. Don't worry about lack of feedback because I've got a lot of it on another site, and about grammar/spelling correction, I'm already working at it.

I played the game for maybe an hour so far. I've really liked all the custom implementations in the game so far. Obviously being your first English game, the grammar isn't the best, but honestly, it's understandable, and still done better than probably 90% of RM games I've played.

Very good ambience all around in this game so far. I can see this being an RM game that I actually play more than a time or two.

Thanks man! Glad you like the game. I'm actually working on next version, where grammar is going to be fixed and I'll add difficulty levels.

Another thing too, I think I might take a lesson or two from this game on making even better use of the RTP than I currently do - I enjoy using the RTP stuff but being three games into VX now, I feel like my own use of it has gotten somewhat stale.

I'll most likely play some more of the game tonight, myself.

I like the game so far, but the mapping doesn't look as strong as it should. I love the character art for some reason it reminds me of Tears of Tiara and Ys, the old version. I love it, but I'm kind of stuck, it's the part where I have to leave for that bridge, but where do I go and how do I climb a cliff. Sorry, it's after the ice machine.

You need to go south-east from the forest where you fought with the ice machine.

I was reviewing the game when I got the girl in my party, I was checking her skills for a cure for poison. When I exited out of the skill menu, I received this error.

That's strange. I'm not sure what's the source of the problem. This could've happened if you've tried to click on empty space in the skill menu. I'm sorry but I can't help you if you've just exited out of the skill menu and received the error, and I've never seen anyone who had this problem before.

I probably just clicked on an empty space in the skill menu instead of exiting out then.

Bout 30 mins into this, I must say I like the game so far tho its not enuff to impress me greatly as did Legionwood 2 :Tales of Two Swords, Lost Heaven, Prophecy the Demon Kingdom, The Cartographer, Fireheart: Legends of the Paladin, Tales of the Drunken Paladin and few others.

I am currently required by newly appointed General Mao to go to Sandbridge but I couldn't figure out how to climb a cliff in a forest due west of the city where you met General Mao and Victoria's younger brother(I forgot the city name sorry).Neyway, bypassing this for a moment, I like the scenes where I had to save Theim, and the campfire scene with Edward, Victoria and Theim, the dialogues are engaging. The intro of this game is epic. Player like me was immediately spurred into elements of surprise during the first walk as the Protaganist tried to escape the laboratory. A refreshing Attribute Upgrades System, a good Item Creating System, and a standard battle coreograph Sideview-Battle-System(you should learn from Prophecy the Demon Kingdom and Lost Heaven for better SBS battle coreography). You've done a great job on eventing especially on the map effects and fantabulous mapping skills(these are the only aspects of the game that rival excellently Legionwood 2 :Tales of Two Swords, Lost Heaven, Prophecy the Demon Kingdom, The Cartographer, Fireheart: Legends of the Paladin, Tales of the Drunken Paladin and few others.) I agree with 332211, you managed to make the personalities of the heroes to be well presented! Yeah!!! >:D

HOWEVAAA!!!!!

You fail at lore. There's not enuff for me to feel the fantasy RPG thrill. Orcs are nowadays common in fiction so you should have squeezed harder for effects. How are you going to feel to play an RPG where it's supposed to be fantasy-themed one, you walk into a fortress encamptment, find 5 soldiers and all 5 soldiers say "Greetings", you walk into a town, and some bunch of townsfolk all share "I hate those damn orcs". I mean seriously man, WTF? You walk into an Inn, Pub, omfg literally all NPC's in the town say "I hate those damn orcs. Kill the orcs! bla bla!"I'm not(at the moment) enjoying any lore in it. Flavour counts man, details decorate! And,.no sidequest?? Uhmm owwkay... o.0

Annnnnnnddddd,.how come both Protagonist and Edward share the SAME EXACT fighting skills? Ain't look and sound right to me,.. o.0

Nuff said. Good game~ ^^

EDIT: Booyah! I shouldn't have reviewed cus I'm yet to finish the game! XD
So,.my apologise,.. ~,~

I reviewed this for my new RPG Maker review blog. The maps are, of course, great, but the NPCs that are part of those maps are not great at all. Lots of grammatical and spelling errors also. Nonetheless, it's a good effort and is one of the better RM games I've played.

Well yeah, NPC's really are using random dialogues, but that's just because I didn't want to create them at all, but then I thought that it would be stupid if there was no one living in the world, then I've got an idea how to do inhabite the world pretty fast. Sorry if you didn't like it.
And about those games that you've mentioned, how many years ,do you think passed, since their demos was aviable? Persanaly, I think Lost heaven ,if it'll make it to the final release, is years away, and The Prophecy will never be made(I hope their developers will prove me wrong and no offence to anybody).
I made this game in about 1 year, and it's really my first game, so sorry if there are some flaws, but nothing is perfect, and if you just don't like it you just can turn it off after all.

I was once told, "It's not counted how long you lived, but how well you lived." No matter how long you or they took or gonna take, what really matters when you start to play a game is not the time spent to make the game, but the result of those spent times.
Well of course no one wants to wait for too long eh? But still, the demo's are there, and what I care at moment of truth isn't the times spent, but how well to be the game came. smile.gif

There's no random dialogues at all. It does not feel like there's human population, but it feels like "robot population" cus I cannot discern expressive emotions between the NPC's. No uniqueness in chat, that's what I was trying to say..

and if u can't chill while taking commentaries, its advisable for you to give up on your RPG-making interest..

Rather than saying whether I like your game or not, or whether I should play it or not, you could've seen my commentaries the other way round, by better perspective. Man, it's not about my personal problem. It's not about whether I like your game or not. It's not about whether I should play it or not. It's about what I, as one of the players, can tell of your game and it's about whether you're able or not to make out something good and valuable from what I've shared with you on what I think of your game. After all, I don't represent the world's opinion? So no offense, no hard feelings. But harsh commentaries do come round to make the blow recipient smarter, tougher and better for the future. Good game tho? I did say that right? Chill man~ smile.gif

Thanks for advice! I'll keep it in mind. I actually was pretty serious about turning off the game if someone doesn't like it. It's not like I'm forcing somebody to play it. And I don't get it about the "chill" thing.

Reviews allow you to improve the game, so I don't see why you're so against the idea of them.
