Ok in my never ending quest to make the whole world ROMAN I have remade the default seat of XP into a proud throne fit for a emperor!

Fantastic!
The wood design appears to match the era, albeit elaborate for wood design, but I guess that's the point. XD

I think the best part is the monster heads I put on the hand rests, they look so badass! woot.gif To bad I can't use it in my game.

Yeah, that was a pretty cool idea. ^^

Have you considered doing other furniture? Such as wardrobe cabinets or dressers with mirrors?

THAT is a great idea! While I dont know much about furniture I think I could make some old style historically accurate ones pretty easy, Maybe ill do some roman ones.

Yeah, maybe even tables/chairs/etc. ^^
The woodwork style would be neat to see, and of course you could even make stone head figures on pillars (like those in Roman structures).

I love her clothes! They match well with the game topic picture of Drusilla, and they are soft colours on the eyes. ^^

Thank you happy.gif Yeah she looks great, and it means a lot to me being able to do all the sprite work for my game, sprite work costs so much money so im glad ive gotten good enough to do it myself, even better then most since other sprites wont take a job to do chariots lol. Im pouring more time into more roman char and backgrounds so it will really pay off even more. Kingdom was already one of the best looking games for XP since it actually had a time period theme to it and didnt just use a bunch of medieval sprites so im hoping to do even more with Kingdom 2 in Ace, but im still learning it.

You should test your talents on tilesets, I bet a lot of people would love a custom roman style tileset.

I have already done that! I changed the flags to roman and added rome symbols to the buildings, I have done edits and addons for it but as far as doing a complete tileset I think thats out of the question, the compile and instal of XP has just made it not work it really, I think ill try my luck with ACE now. But its cool that I can use all my roman stuff on Ace to.

Ok as most of you know I usually work with XP but now im moving on to Ace after a recent disappointment with the XP system. So this is my VERY first flag edit, the first of many to add some MUCH needed variety to the RTP cause I find ACE lacking in this area, the RTP is just way to bright for my taste but anyways here we go, I will be adding more from time to time to help you guys out and show off my skills.

Once again in my never ending quest to make the world roman I have done my first ACE world set building, the Arena!!!

(Update) Ok so I got really mad at this guy today, he was looking for some sprite work so I looked on his crapy forum, but apparently didn't know what he was doing or how the world works, most of all my time is important. However it's a good thing that most ppl think my work is awesome and totally kick ass, so being pissed off helps me do great sprite work, so here is a world map Roman senate house! This is just a sample, the one I use in my game will be shaded happy.gif

Can't sleep, again, so I decided to make a series of murals/plaques for Kingdom to be put on the castle/city walls and maybe even inside. ACE is lacking in fine art so I thought id fix that.

Not sure what country I want to make it for though, could be for Egypt or Rome. But yea just thought show off my stuff. Think im still gonna shade it a bit more, maybe use it as a template for others. Not for use without my permission.

It looks neat. ^^
Have you thought of doing the golden eagle atop a pole for the Romans?

I can't find a proper example, so this will have to do:

Yeah, there you go! =D

Strangely enough, when I searched Google for an image to represent what I was trying to describe, that one came up. So of course I had to use it. tongue.gif

If I have something learnt about Lato. It is that he is addicted to design flags and banners.

Mahahah cause im the best at it! And I think that is the one thing that the games need most, differnt flags for differnt countries. Flags are really fun to do cause they show off my skills but I think doing icons is the most fun. My tileset is full now, the cool thing about it is I can use it now for all my ACE and XP projects, even though I dont use XP anymore.

Ok I have been wanting to experiment with making new sprites/pix work but not sure where to start, so I looked on the map sheet until I got some ideas, im not really sure how to describe this, its like a old washing station for public use...I think, im not sure if I like it or hate it or really how it would even be used in game but I am wanting to branch out the kinda stuff I do. So tell me what you guys think.

Ok I also did my first desk, this is my first piece of furniture I have done from scratch, im not sure if the proportions are correct so tell me what you guys think.

I like the fountain thing, but it reminds me of a bird bath more than a public washing area.
To make it a better bird bath, you could add little statues spitting water out. =D
(Bird baths are cool to look at.) ^^

The table looks great, with the colours and all, though I think the tabletop is a bit long (up and down) for the length of the legs. I could be wrong because the perspective makes more sense against a background where other, similarly designed, furniture is.
