The problem is that I'm working on this project, a project that I'm really interested in keeping it going, The problem is that when I was about to post information about my game for people to recruit to it, the Recruitment forum had to be re-arranged and made things way more difficult for me. Because I am an eventer, and really bad at spriting and mapping.

Based on the Project Showcase template, I need at least 3 screens to present my project. So I said "OK, I'll have to make a little tileset and little sprites of the main character and NPCs", but I can NEVER present something decent with my spriting or mapping skills. That means, nothing that can be convincing for people to recruit.

So the question is, is ABSOLUTELY necessary to post screens?... I mean I can put a little sign that says "Screenshots not available yet" or something like that, and when I can recruit a spriter (and a mapper), I could present screens that are on par with the quality I want for my game.

If someone replies to this I would be truly grateful smile.gif

It is not the quality if the screens rather than a way to showcase your project yo attract spriters and mappers..

For example your screens that give a flavour of the game will help- then you can explain that it is the mapping you need help with =using your map as an example.
