Thank you so much mang! !!! It was my first time trying to combine crosshatching and colors with digital art. I've done it a lot with markers, but never digitally lol. She's actually loosely based off of an old friend of mine, she's one of the prettiest women I've met, couldn't think of anyone better to base my character off of.
I HAS A LITTLE MOAR ART.
I have sketches nao :/ sorry for the shoddy quality, I don't have a scnner or camera so I have to take the pictures with my cellphone LOL.

I love the "What is this nonsense?" image! Brilliantly done!
I have difficulty seeing the imagery on the newspaper (I have bad eyes) but I can read the "For just that instant, the sun looked so heavy" part. Curious idea. =]
That last one certainly isn't done, but it looks like a wolf. Must see completed version! O_O

Thank you mon amigo! I was very happy with the way the nonsense one turned out LOL it started out as just a doodle at work, I scribbled on that paper to get the pen working whenever it was hassling me and I ended up turning it into that bahahaha.
And as for the one in the middle, that was an idea I had for a digital piece I wanted to do so I quickly sketched the concept. Which is now complete, and I feel complete now that this is completed lol. I had this image stuck in my head for a good week and a half, so it feels GREAT to have it done.
Also, I'm not really sure what this is supposed to be LOL I started out with the red circle cause I wanted to practice drawing something that glowed, but I ditched that original idea alltogether and did... This... THING... ? lol
Also, which piece looks better? With or without the light around the buildings?

The sun image looks good with or without the sunlight reflecting off of the buildings. Though I think the reflection gives it more of a "it's raining and you can see where the rain drops have fallen" effect than a "the sun is burning the buildings" effect; if you get what I mean. D=
The crow's red eye looks absolutely amazing! (I just named it that randomly, lol. It does look like a crow's eye to me.) ^^

I think I like the picture better without the light, but at the same time that "It's raining" effect is what I'm looking for lol. The picture is suppose to be just that brief fraction of a second prior to buildings melting, just that impossible-to-calculate moment of silence before the storm.
And thank you! LOL I do think it looks like a crow too, I just have no idea where I want to go with it haha. I've worked on it a bit more but not enough for it to be worth showing the updated version.

Well, be sure to show the "crow" once you've finished it, or updated enough to show. =D
This new piece is very cool. The colours are really amazing together, very retro-style. Also, the curvature of the hair is brilliant. The shading and face structure is also quite perfect. I'd like to see this painted on a black wall using green paints and then turn out the lights and turn on a black-light. That would be amazing!
Imagine, a room full of your artwork, all painted on a black wall and then a black-light making everything come to life in that way. :3
That one image of the black circle appears to be an eye or wormhole of some sort...or something, lol! For the sun, I think the one with the light looks very pretty with its brightness. As for you WIP, it looks awesome~ The colours you used give it a 3D look

Thank you very much everyone : D! Xman, the part of the picture that took me the longest was the hair hahaha I got totally lost in the lines and curves and shit haha it was super fun. The colors were actually inspired by Windows Media Player hahaha. It made me remember that those two colors are my favorite color combination.
Aww back from the dead I see, I have always loved your work homo, very ruff and dark, now you just need to get yourself a scanner so you can start doing some commissions. Id love to hire you.
Loving it all...reminds me...I have several pieces on the back burner that I've meant to finish...namely a sketch of Sweeney Todd. I love dark art/writing - you should check out my art and writing threads

OH MAH GAHD. So I finally think I'm over my art stump lol I hadn't arted any actual "put effort into it" pictures in months, but I think I'm back on track. I only have the picture I'm working on though lol the one that got me out of my rut.
She's a character for my brother's upcoming D&D campaign, L5R.
WIP reside within
It's a shitty sketch to remind myself of a pic to draw, and it was taken with my shitty cellphone, so it's double shitty BUT. I can't post shit without posting something creepy, can I.

The one for the D&D game looks fantastic! Can't wait to see it fully coloured. ^^
Also, did you (by any chance) get the idea of licking the brain from Pirates of the Caribbean? (Jack Sparrow licks his own brain at one point, if you've seen the film.) >:3

Amazing job on the colours! Also, very nice work on the wrinkled areas of the clothing (it's hard to get that shading to look correct).
One thing I noticed, that doesn't seem to work well, is that the neck area seems off. The blue area of the shirt seems to be hugging the skin around the chest area a lot more than is portrayed around the neck area. Because of this, I don't see the collar bone, which should be visible through the shirt. I hope that makes sense. D=
Anyway, it looks divine (brilliant shading and colours)! ^^

YES, THANK YOU! The collarbone! Oh man, that should so help. You have no idea, that neck and shoulder area bugged me from the moment I drew it, but I was too lazy to erase her arm and redraw it so I just rolled with it LOL I even sat down with a friend and we discussed what I could possibly do to make it look better than it originally did. And. I think adding the shading to imply a collar bone is a fantastic observation. Thank you mang
