Not DirectX 10 but XNA. I am looking into doing a directX 9.0c to XNA 4.0 update. This is a major task and will take some time converting the system over to it. At time point we are not looking to support the XBox360 Console do to console short life and the limmitation it has with non-piped IO like Lua. However we will still support the Xbox contorler.

To get the current version to work downloading DirectX 9.0c may fix the problem.

I updated the engine from XNA 3.1 to XNA 4.0. I also fix a problem with it using the wrong DirectX DLL making it not work for some users.

Version 0.7.77 Beta is now ready for download. We have also added more templates that can be download from the LastEnd site. We need more user feedback, so tell everyone about VRS please. We also need fan sites. Anyone that creates a VRS fan site and generates traffic for VRS will get a free copy once version 1.0 comes out.
Here a list of the latest updates done to VRS. We release a new version 1 to 2 times a week on any given day.

Updates

1. Build/Debug Projects
a. Updated Audio to a encrypted pipeline.
b. Updated Images to a encrypted pipeline.
2. Updated Templates to each run off of one .VRST encrypted compressed file.
3. Added option to add templates from file (.VRST).
4. Added comment option to templates.

Removed Bugs

1. Fixed bug not feeding pre-error message to users in some dialogs.
2. Fixed language bug keeping other languages from creating templates.

1. Engine Scripting directory is now built into the common libary.
2. Added Engine quick commands.
3. Renamed code 'Engine.CloseWindow()' to 'Engine.Close()'
4. Added scripted input class.
5. Moved input commands in engine class to the input class.
6. Added a random number helper used in scripting quick commands.
7. Added update prompt.
8. Script editor now show scripting errors and highlights the line of script when the error is clicked.
9. Added more language terms.
10. .Improved scripting intellesence.
11. .Updated all templates to work on new scripting commands.

Fixed Bugs

1. Fixed bug crashing the engine when adding items by right clicking the gameboard.
2. Fixed bug on the welcome screen that was opening a web browser after a dialog was canceled, and the button was click again.
3. Fixed problem with it not allowing users to add templates after one has already been created.

What resources, if any, come with it? What are the pre-built templates? It is geared for Action RPGs, Turn Based, something else altogether? What benefits would are there for someone used to working with the Enterbrian product line? More features? Easier to use?

He sold me the moment I saw intellisense. After working forever in Visual studio's IDE I've become kinda dependent on Intellisense.

For those who don't know intellisense is when you type a . to add a method or property, intellisense pops up a little listbox to allow you to select which valid property/method you want to use.

We are very excited to announce VRS 1.0 will be release on 9/2/2012. Many new feature have been added since the last Beta release almost an year ago.

We have fix the installer problem we had in beta. We did this by using the best installer on the market.

Also We have redesign the website a bit. It will be uploaded along with VRS on 9/2/2012.

We will keep you posted on LastEnd if the date changes.

Thank you I do remember a lot of poeple when I started this post were doing the same thing, but they stop before they ever really got started. The Editor and Engine have been about 5 Years in the making. I have lost 2 job, and a lot of sleep becuase of it (in a way); however those jobs were never my passion.
