Camille Theme - A very cool and sweet theme. I guess Camille is a character? Because it has a very unique sound that could go well with a brave, but sweet hero/heroine.

En La Misticidad - Is cool and mysterious. It reminds me a bit of the Treno theme of FF9. A very cool piece! biggrin.gif

Idea xD/Courage - Is very cool, sounds like a battle theme. Very reminiscent of Megaman music. Brilliant!

En Guarde (Boss Theme) - Amazing piece. This fits so well for a boss battle. The intro reminds me of Bloody Tears from the Castlevania series.

Abstract Revolution - It's very hard to give any feedback on this song, so many different ideas in one composition! Well-made nonetheless!

Un Pequenño Descanso - I enjoyed listening to this piece. It's very relaxing and the melody reminds me a bit of Greensleeves! The guitar sounds really good by the way, what VST/Sound font is that from?

Misticidad 2 - Very sweet and calming sounding. I can imagine lyrics to this piece, maybe a ballad. I like this one a lot ;D

Secante De Laralay - This was very different. Sounds a bit like carnival/tivoli music tongue.gif. The ending was nicely done!

Overworld Theme (Zelda Cover)
- Great sounding VSTs! As the others mentioned it's hard to notice the error's that you mention. It sounds very nice!

I have a hero, his name is...
- Very fanfare-like. Sounds a bit like a military event or rally. Maybe they hand out medals of honor? Who knows. I like it tongue.gif

Gwehehehe
- Such a cool melody. It's sound like this villain is teasing you. He could be a bit like the joker from batman, only driving being a part of hells angels instead. Cool and funky!

Desert Theme - This is nice and certainly fitting for a desert theme, but more like a scary desert theme or something. It has an eerie ring to it.

No Name Song
- Sweet and simple! Very sad, yet uplifting. Nice job!

I'm sorry for such short feedback for each individual song, but I wanted to at least comment something about each one!

Keep on composing!

No Name Song actually starts out with, and maintains throughout, a melody that is very similar to one in Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I can't identify the name of that song though because it isn't one of the main ones in the game and I haven't played that game in forever, lol.
Anyway, it is beautifully done and I love it! happy.gif

Lon lon ranch. I see it. I'm just waiting for the little girl to queue in the Ocarina.
I also feel slight ties to Epona's Song.
It's funny how biased we are when all a track has to do is sound slightly similar and our mind just bridges the gap for us.

Ohh, thanks for the response Fateliante, the percussion, the percussion was made by my friend (he is from easter island, so he has that singular style), I'm glad that you like it!

Now I'm testing some vst, I made this:

TLoZ Overworld Theme (Cover By MrHawi)

it has some mistakes, but it's ok for me, I hope that you like it =)

I like this. It does bring back great memories. I can't help but just get lost in a track like this.

Yes! That's it exactly!
Thanks Shablo5. ^^

When done correctly, I thoroughly enjoy songs that sound similar to SNES games. Those SNES games have the most iconic music in the gaming world, and some of the melodies are still being used in games today (just with a new "flare", which is usually pretty decent). =]

World Map Theme:
This is a very peaceful theme, with some nice strings and harp pieces. The beginning has a feeling of adventure to it, which is very evident. Then it goes into a nice harp solo-type-thing, which is more peaceful. The arpeggios give it a feeling of delicateness, and the harps on top are very nice also. At about 1:30 I start to realize that this is the chord progression to Pachebel's Canon, which always works, doesn't it? tongue.gif Overall a very nice theme that makes me want to travel the world in adventures!

Shop Theme:
It's a very nice Spanish-esque theme with the horns over the top. It's kind of like there's this little trio of musicians playing in the corner of the shop, just entertaining you. And I like that feeling. It has several stops, before continuing, and a little shaker that I can hear in the corner of my ear. It's a short piece, but it's also nice to hear. So overall, well done, good job.

I won't go too much off topic past this point, but i've always felt there was a few different ideas brought up recently. "Why does video game music suck?" or "Why don't we get the same feeling as we did back in the day of SNES music?"

Do you think music today sucks? Or to rephrase, do you think music created in the 8bit era was superior? Why/Why not?

Personally, I think they are miles apart. I think technology has come so far that the music CAN'T be worse. However, I think the reason Snes music was so Iconic, is BECAUSE of the limited toolset the artists had to work with. It's those simple rhythms and melodies that kept them in our head for 5, 10, 15 years. Now with the entire orchestra being called on to provide the score, it's harder for it to be embedded into our brains. And if it is, it's certain parts that resemble techniques used back in the old 8bit era.

If this topic at all interests you, I found this video pretty interesting on the topic:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKgHrz_Wv6o
Plus just wave upon wave of nostalgia.

Okay, enough off-topic for me.

I love this one! happy.gif
It sounds very familiar, but I'm too forgetful to remember where I've heard similar music, lol.
Is this a reworking of a previous theme?

Oh! thanks for comment =). And yes, that theme is one of my old ones, but I like to remake it =).

I have no inspiration lately, so I'm making covers of old tracks from SNES. I made one of my favorites, here is it:

Sparkster - Final Boss Theme

And the original one:

Original One

Bye =).

Sparkster - Final Boss Theme is very well done, I really love the melody and rhythm - it matches perfectly with the old SNES version. ^^

Thanks for comments =).

A friend asked me to do a cover of a song (he didn't mentioned the origin of the song). I liked it, so I made the cover:

track 3 - ???

I don't know the origin of that song either, but it sounds strangely familiar. (Hate when that happens to me, lol.) XD

It's beautiful, whatever it belongs to. happy.gif

Hello!

??? Battle Theme - MrHawi - This piece is great. I love the change of tempo at ~1:00. Very nice! The start reminds me of Jin's theme.

Sparkster - Final Boss Theme - This theme is cool! I hadn't heard the original before, your cover is quality! biggrin.gif

track 3 - ???
- Hmm, the way the melody is structured it sounds like something that originally had lyrics in it! But I don't know, I don't recognize it either! Nicely done, though tongue.gif

Keep on rocking! (However cliché that may sound!)

Wow, it sounds really good and keeps to what I'd expect the Lufia theme to sound like. =D
Great job. ^^
What CPS2 samples are you using in it?
