I decided it's time to throw some stuff out there as what to I'm working on.
I'm also starting to work with tiles, houses, etc. When it comes to sprites I find it pretty easy but tiles seem to be another story..

Anything I generally post here is a WIP.

Heh nice some dragon ball stuff, I always thought those kinda resources were interesting, I seen the char and they look cool but have never seen an actual house that could be used so good job on that, would be cool if it was used in a game.

I'm pretty much doing everything from scratch, sprites aren't much of an issue nor houses (need to look up different roof styles though I kinda just did a guess and tiled some square shingles which turned out great for just guessing a pattern. I pretty much suck at terrain stuffs...

Hmm. A turtle house.

These houses which look like extremely new reminds me of Pokemon games. High maintenance in that world.

It is like if houses was made out of plastic and then someone just painted the walls afterwards.

Depends on Which pokemon game you're talking about, but the pokemon series was meant to be simple in style. But c'mon it's a handheld game... looking forward to X/Y I need to finish Black/White though...

This is just an idea, but I thought about having portraits in my game I of course will be drawing these not pixeling them.


This was an outline and will not be used in game but I was just messing with shading and I think it turned out decent.

When I actually start drawing these it won't have the rough edges but this was also done quickly for an avatar.
