After reading the notice, I was like, "Oh hey, I have a random prologue in my art topic, better seperate it fast." So I did. I also have music in there, which I'll get to momentarily, but for the time being....

Project EXodus Intro/Prologue
Bradley William Johnson was sitting cozily on a chair in his private office, reading a rather recent report. He sighed exasperatedly, leaning back in his chair and throwing the folder onto his desk. "That's another three men killed in terrorist attacks this month," he muttered to himself. If this kept up, they would have to pull out of the area. Brad shook his head and sighed again. They couldn't fail now...not when they were so close. Brad gazed into the mirror on the wall opposite him. His blue eyes shone back, almost mockingly. Brad was about to throw something at the glass in rage, when he heard the sound of something being slid under his closed door. Curious, he turned around, noticing a sealed envelope with no writing on the front, no stamps, nothing. Brad sighed once more, getting up and fetching the envelope. He tore the envelope impatiently, slowly taking the folded paper from the envelope. Brad unfolded it, staring at the barely legible handwriting on the note.
Dear Maj. Bradley William Johnson, You are under orders to report to the Lab, no questions asked. Room 109, get there as fast as possible. Time is of the essence. Also, please bring some spare clothes with you. -XzX
Brad frowned. He had no idea who this "XzX" person was, and he didn't care. However, assuming this actually was a direct order, he decided to comply just in case. Being reprimanded was not on his personal agenda. He threw on his spare coat, a long black duster jacket, and strode out of his office into the cold and dreary night. As he made his way to the Lab, he couldn't help but think how bizarre the situation was. The Lab, as it was called, was the main research facility in the entire base. Rumors had been flying around everywhere about strange noises and lights coming from The Lab, like they were experimenting on aliens. Of course, Brad did not believe in extraterrestrials, he never had. It was all made up by some incompetent fool, or at least, that's what Brad always assumed. In any case, only scientists ever entered The Lab, and occasionally soldiers of much higher status than himself would enter, but being personally ordered by letter made him somewhat suspicious. Brad shugged it off, dismissing the thoughts as him thinking too much. Upon entering The Lab, it took him around ten minutes to find the room he was looking for, having to stop and ask for directions three times. He knocked on the door lightly, the sound of drills, hammers and other machinations going about their business pounding his ears. Almost instantly, the machinery stopped. "Major Johnson, I presume?" inquired a voice behind the door. "Yes, that would be me, sir," replied Brad in the most formal and polite tone he could manage. "Ah, do come in, Major, we've been expecting you for some time now," stated the voice. Bradley opened the door, and stepped in. He did not ever see the face of the voice, or that of which who struck him, the only thing he remembered was a loud bang, and suddenly everything went black.
Bradley woke up around eight hours later, feeling very dizzy. He blinked a few times, trying to focus, for whatever reason, it was very bright. He didn't quite remember it being so in The Lab. Then, he heard the chirping of birds. He sat straight up, his eyes open wide. "What the hell?!" Brad shouted. "Where the hell am I?!" Trees, as far as he could see. Lots of other vegetation, mostly dirt. Yeah, a lot of dirt. Brad blinked again, slowly trying to let everything sink in. Either something really horrible was taking place within his government, or this was a very, very bad prank. He assumed it wasn't the latter. He stood up, shaking his head, attempting to clear his mind. One thing was for certain, he had to find a way out of here and back to a U.S controlled area. The worst-case scenario at this point would be stumbling upon a group of terrorists without his gun on him. He stumbled around mindlessly for a while, having no real sense of direction. After countless hours of senseless wandering, he came upon a cleared area. It struck Brad as odd, glancing around for a moment, he noticed that the trees in the area were cut down, rather than simply not growing there. Above that, the cuts seemed fresh. This had been done very recently; it was all planned. If that was the case, Brad had fallen into some kind of trap. Before those thoughts could fully process in his mind, her heard a low whirring sound. He turned to his left, noticing a small, purple and black box on the ground. The box was like nothing he had ever seen before, it looked like something from a sci-fi movie, strange markings and the like. All of a sudden, the the sides of the cube popped open, and began to rotate. The whirring sound became much louder. From inside the cube, Brad could see a strange. spherical blue energy emanating from its core. Brad, even more curious, stepped closer. The top of the cube ceased spinning. Project EXodus was crudely painted across the top in a dark red. Bradley heard a clicking sound. He turned to run, but it was too late. The cube exploded in a giant ray of blue energy, and everything immediately went black... -----

Eeyup, no problem. I decided to just remove the music. I'm probably not going to make a topic for music, I've long since realized it's not exactly my talent. Instead, I think I'll just keep up my writing and art. Speaking of art, I'll probably throw another update in there.
I also have an idea for a story I may write up on here. Also, are users limited to original stories or can we post fanfiction as well? Just wondering.
