Saga of The Clans - Prologue Options

Okami and her party meet the king who has summoned them with the promise of gold."

"Okami, you must bring me this artifact I'm looking for" said the king.
"So I gather I shall be greatly rewarded for doing this?" intrigued Okami.
"Naturally, I'm the king after all. No reward is too small from me."

Okami believes the king and leads her party out via the main gate. However little they know that the king is not going to pay more than 100 Gold even if they survive.

"Those fools. Nowadays clans are so high and mighty to believe they have authority greater than me when it comes to ruling the Krateria. I shall teach them I'm not their personal cash cow."

Meanwhile.

"Artifacts are valuable, I wonder how many millions of Gold the king will give us." - Okami
"Maybe I can finally buy that jeweled Spell Pistol I have always wanted." - Mahou
"Don't count on it." - said often sarcastic Kitsune.
"I made contract but I still don't even know the king's name. I wonder how this will stay legal." - Okami
"Who cares what the king is called? All that matters that he holds his side of the bargain." - Kitsune
"You are right." - said not often bright Okami.

They are stopped after they see some Ghostly like figure in the town. A closer look shows that it is just some kind of magical disguise, not suspicious at all.

"Not suspicious at all." - Kitsune

Before anything else happens, mysterious figure starts to speak.

"My name is Ghostly Winds and I heard the discussion about the artifact that the king wants. I can help you to steal it" - Ghostly Winds
"Welcome to the party!" - Said foolish Okami

Others start to follow Ghostly Winds and after walking for awhile...

"So yeah, where is that Artifact?" - Okami
"Inside the Vampurus Castle." - Ghostly Winds
"Are you (or both) crazy? Deaux the vampire lord owns that place." - Mahou
"So?" - Kitsune
"For starters, we are not even properly equipped to deal with that place. It is level 45!" - Mahou
"Levels?" - said clueless Okami
"Forget it." - Mahou

They arrive to front of the Vampurus Castle.

"Wait here, I go scout ahead" - Ghostly Winds
"Okay." - Okami

Ghostly winds proceed to sneak on mostly empty looking hallways.

"This is perfect. I can sneak in and steal the real artifact. After that I just give this fake copy to Okami and get paid." - Ghostly Winds

Ghostly Winds sneak to a small room where the expensive looking chest lies. He it and finds the artifact laying inside.

"Now I just leave this letter here which fools Deaux to go after Okami instead of me." - Ghostly Winds

Ghostly Winds puts the real artifact to his Cube of Holding. Which acts kind of like a portable inventory and goes back and meets the party.

"It was easy, place seemed unguarded so I ended up completing the quest alone." - Ghostly Winds
"So about your payment..." - Okami
"Don't worry about it. I found a few chests which were filled with gold." - Ghostly Winds
"Not suspicious at all." - Kitsune
"Let's go to our hideout." - Okami
"I must leave now, I have other urgent business far far away." - Ghostly Winds

Few moments pass and after arriving to their hideout.

"That was a nice and reliable fellow." - Okami
"We will see." - Kitsune

What happens next? Well play the game once it is out.
