Recruitment question Options

Okay I know that ther eis a template and specific way to recruit people, but, what about if you need to recruit people before you can get that information needed for recruiting? Just a question that was on my mind.

The opinion is that if you haven't got enough information to fill out the template then you're game isn't at the stage where:
People would be interested in helping out,
You are ready to start recruiting people,

If part of your recruitment is to help you come up with game ideas, then you could just create a thread in Theory, but you would still need to have some basic ideas of what you are planning.

You don't need to have all the plot planned out, and all the features, and whatnot, that's what the thread can be used for to bounce back ideas, but you should have a general idea of how you think the story will go, the kind of game you wish to create, and a few options in case something doesn't work.

I have this thing where I really wanna keep credits given organized. If I create a thread instead of recruiting a second or third writer, then I gotta credit ALL the people who are in that thread and then my head would explode. It easier to just credit two or three writers than credit 50 differnt people. This is, of course, assuming they want credit for helping.

Also, I kinda need people for other things that will help the writing and stuff.

But you still need to have an idea of what you want in the game.
The opinion is that if you can't form at least 50 words to describe what the game is going to be like or about then you aren't ready to start recruiting people.

Actually I think my only problem with words is using too many of them ^^;

I have many ideas and plans, but the trouble is I have so many I don't know what to use, and struggle choosing. This is why I would need someone to help. They can bounce ideas off of mine and I can do the same. I find it A LOT easier to do work when working with a partner

I would suggest you work on the information you need before recruiting. Personally if the recruiter could not tell me basics of the game I would not join. I would get some very basic, even a rough mock up sketch of the game and what they can expect to do before you recruit
