Time for an update; something I think XMO will like ^^



What better way to test out my new tablet and mark my 100th deviation than a digital drawing of Edward from Cowboy Bebop. Not going to lie, the digital process for this drawing was rather enjoyable. ^^ My lines are still unstable and I do need more work with shading, but I'm still proud of this one. ^^

This is the progress on my 5th paperchild. I thought Alan deserved a chance in the spotlight for once, although it's not exactly what he's hoping for
I plan to have this printed and cut out pretty soon.

Something I did a week ago



Something I needed to starting brushing up more on: action/dynamic poses and chibis. So here there are I suppose, Chibi Rain(couldn't help myself =w= and Cindy wielding her prized possession, the red-9. The Rain chibi came out ok, I suppose; feels more like a baby version of her. As for Cindy I felt like it came out better than I thought it would. Must practice more... -w-

The chibi version looks more baby-like than chibi-like to me because of the facial structure. (You've changed the body structure to match a chibi style, but the head looks like it would fit normally onto the regular style.) That might help give it a more chibi look than "baby" look. =]
(I don't really see anything else that makes it less chibi, but I might be missing something.)

Good job on Cindy, again. ^^
One thing that needs changing is the angle of the gun. Cindy seems to be turned at an angle, and not looking directly in the direction that the gun is pointing, so I'm assuming the gun is what needs fixing.
Basically, the gun is flat and not at an angle, but the rest of Cindy is at an angle.

digitial update time!! ^^



This is something I've wanted to turn digital since the day I first drew this sketch. As I've said before Suzette should deserve more attention. Even though she is a minor character in the game Solatorobo, she's pretty much my favorite character, so drawing her was rather fun. ^^

This one was fun to do as I'll tried a few new things like hair shine and a darker opacity for the shade. Shading was completely hand done with out the use of the pen tool, so it took a while, but it was worth it!

Time for a well needed update.



Wanted to experiment and try putting more than 1 character for once on the paper. This was pretty fun to do and I've always wanted to try something like this. I used my main team, because I've always wanted to see the three together acting however they do. This was done weeks before, but I barely got around to touching it up a bit... ^^;

You've got the faces/heads just about perfect! ^^
Need to work a little on the anatomy (the fist seems to be inside his sleeve instead of facing towards the screen, if you know what I mean - and Kate Walker's breasts seem slightly off).
Great work overall, keep it up!

Anyways time for a quick update.



Ehhh...not too crazy about the last name, but it'll do for now. So, time for a new character to make her debut in my gallery: Kim. I wanted to draw her up for a while now and since I had no previous concepts on her I just drew what I could remember. I added the scythe to add to her nature, making her even more deadly. =w= I decided while I was at it to practice this specific pose for the first time and got a better result than what I first started with, although I know there are still things that need fixing. This is only a concept right and I hope to change her to better fit my intended character designs. Still debating whether she will be in my story. ^^;

Update time!




Like always, Kate seems to be the best character to experiment with new clothing and such. I got the idea of these clothes through various pics and such and wanted to see how my character looked in them, so I thought, "why, not?" Kate seems much more happier than before; I guess she feels more like a badass now lol.

Yay! Another update! ^^

She looks grand, but I'd recommend that you shorten the legs a bit (they are much longer than they should be, and I'd say that the knees should be appearing at about half of their current length - not sure how much longer they are without seeing the feet). =]

Yeah I tend to draw a little to big, so its hard to tell where the feet are ^^;. However, I disagree on the length of the legs as they would seem disproportional to the rest of the upper body(I feel she would seem extremely short ^^; ). I'm guessing it could be because of the pants I used or maybe because it looks different from the scanned pic? I'm not sure. Thanks for the feedback!

I was just going by the seven-heads proportion thingie, lol.
So if the feet are literally right where the image ends, then it might be perfect, but I can't tell because I don't see the feet.
