I was discussing the Ninja Gaiden series on my ''Top 10 Male Video Game Characters of All-Time'' topic between the NES and 360/PS3 versions and it got me an idea for a new topic.
If a game came out on an old console and then it came back in a form of a remake. which one would u prefer, the old classic version or the remake version? It could be any remake. There's alot of games that came back onto the consoles u see today and the remake could ruin the game, can't it? Not all the time.
For an example: Golden Axe (Mega Drive) or Golden Axe: Beast Rider (PS3)
I can't really say, I haven't played a whole lot of remakes, but I'd probably go for the remakes for extremely old games (I never played FF3 or 4 until I got them for DS)
Sonic 1&2 vs. Sonic 4: Episode 1 (Which is a remake mixed between 1&2) The original wins. Completing the original Sonic games was fun and challenging. The new one had the addition of the jump-dash and I finished it on my first playthrough with 31 extra lifes remaining. It was lame in comparason. I liked the remake nonetheless.
FF1 on NES vs. FF1 Remake on PSP The remake wins. It's the same game with better looking graphics and an easier interface. Remake wins.
