Well, I have to agree with Chrono that the weapons does look out of place..and it would have been better if you would have an artist do your characters for you..I see alot of RO characters in many games. But other than that, the game looks pretty well done. And i will definately play it! Keep it up! happy.gif

Okay, things moving along more quickly then I expected. Have now added a new World Map, two towns,
added new monsters, spells and another aeon...thats 3 and one more to go.
Two screens added....

Those Backgrounds are really adding some nice effect to the game, I had to check it twice to realise that it was a RTP tileset.
Good mapping there aswell.

The only little problems that I can see in the HQ is that the large tank looks flat against the wall try moving it down a bit and the vent is blocked by the pipe try taking it out, but apart from that its not too cluttered and not empty - Perfect balance.

The faces look very out of place with each other. I don't know who those other two are, but the edited Sain contrasts way too much with the other two.

Well Im hoping to at least get a demo up before New Year, with about 2 hours gameplay.
Thanks for the comments Dark Holder, Ive replaced that HQ screen with a re edit. Now I just need
this shifting across to Demos. Hmm, or make a new thread there.

I love the idea of using the backgrounds for cutscenes, but the characters do look a little out of place. Try making the characters taller or darkening them to fit the backgrounds. Test different lighting effects, etc.

Yeah Ive tried allsorts Bazoo to blend them into their backgrounds, but havent been
too happy with the results. Heres a latest cut scene shot....Village of Wytika.
Possibly last for a while....until the demo comes out.

Demo should be up shortly. Progress approx 80% completed.
Whats been done: Added another chara/battler. ( now 2 parties !)
Added more towns ! 2 infact !
Enhanced cbs ....more like Wild Arms !!
Deeper storyline....and new systems.
Screens to keep you updated

i really am gonna love it! as im writing im downloading it ^^ BTW: does anyone know where to get rtp's for all versions of game maker?

EDIT:
i love the first scene (however its the only thing ill see...)<-thats cuz it just ummm... im not english so i dont know how to say it... well it gives a black screen and then it says the game "hangs" so... how can i play?

RedDrago, that puzzles me ? Has anyone else experienced this. I tested it out on labtop, ran okay.
Does this occur once the first opening sequence moves on to the next ?
Have also uploaded this in winrar.

well this error comes just as the first scene ends (in the black screen when it moves on)

This is one area I was fearing most. EDIT. The game now has standard font, which means that everyone
can download without the font issues.

No, this isn't a bump, merely a fix in the game. New download link takes care of one bug that was identified
a while back. New event & NPCs making it impossible to take a west route too early in the game, thus
avoiding a short life for some players. Enjoy thumbsup.gif
