Trouble in Delgaia, My game gets a rip-apart by you guys. Options

This is a game that I am willing to let you guys play with me. This is going to be completely freeform compared to my game Monsters and Mazes (which takes place in this world). I will explain the rules at a later time, everyone, but I will say that you can make up the equips so that I will put them in the actual game I'm making.

Anyway, before we begin, I'm waiting for 6 other people to join the game. What do you think?

Alright, then, please make a character! Oh, yeah, I'll worry about health for the characters so let me edit the characters for your character's health.

I was wondering when a fellow clansmen would join this! Please make your equipment up before the story starts and add a bio to your character (as well as race and gender and what you wish for stats [I'll explain in a little bit]).

Stats have nine levels of power, so they'll be labeled from 1-9. The different stats have an effect on your character, so choose how your character's stats will be in effect. Here are the stats:

Power: Power is what determines your attack. This is a biggy for fighter-style classes (which means classes like paladins [which also have high defense and spirit], devil knights, lancers and draco knights) as well as
Speed: Speed determines how high you can evade enemy attacks. This will also have an effect on where your place in battle is turn wise.
Defense: This is how tough you are in the game and how well you can shake off diseases and poisons and stuff like that.
Spirit: This is good for if you are a paladin or something like that. This stat is for how much MP you can have (1 being that your character has low MP and can use only normal skills and all the way to 9 means that the MP gets higher and higher).
Spell casting: Stuff that has to do with how fast you can cast spells, your ability to reason, and your brains on solving puzzles (though that comes from the player and not the character).
Charm: How you interact with other characters and how you can get out of battles.

Well, that will help out in the long run, everyone. Choose which number goes for which stat (the opposite will be for stats of your choice [except 5. 1-4 and 6-9 are the correct opposite numbers]).

Okay, guys, I'd better make my character. This will be the hero of my game that I'm making that this is based on. Here is the character.

Alexander Skylandra
Race: Human

Class: Elementalist/Paladin

Weapon: Elementalist's Sword (does around 15 damage depending on the power level. Also increases Spell Casting by 20 [I know, I know, seems unfair. This item, however, is the weakest one for this class]).
Shield: Small shield (Raises Defense by 30 [hey, everyone, at least it's better than the cardboard shield that can be bought]).
Armor: Cloth armor (Raises Defense by 10).
Helmet: Desperado Helm (Raises Defense by 20 and Speed by 60 [great for going first in battle]).
Accesory: Gauntlet (Raises Defense by 20 and damage is boosted by four times).
Accesory #2: Halo pendant (protects wearer from evil and boosts spirit by 80)
Accesory #3: Nuke Boots (protects wearer from poisons caused by nuclear explosions and fire damage is absorbed).

Bio: Alexander was a very fortunate boy when he went through the portal that was supposed to take him all the way to "Hell" for dark Elementalist training. He was five years old when he went to Delgaia and trained as a Paladin and an Elementalist. When he turned 18, the whole adventure started, for Lich (the death demon that was going to have him trained for bad stuff to happen all over the universe) tried to kill him with a deadly demon but failed!! That's when Alexander went to the pub for finding people to help him find his way to his real home.

POWER: 9 (nine means that the damage inflicted is 27 with the Elementalist's sword [swords change on him when he chooses to change his equipment in any way])
SPEED: 68 (from that one boost)
DEFENSE: 88 (from all those boosts)
SPIRIT: 89 (from that one boost)
SPELL CASTING: 29 (from that one boost)
CHARM: 7

By the way, igo, what is a Halfling (unless you're referring to a hobbit)?

Sounds good, Kamihoko, and while your at it try having a reason ready for you going to the pub to be introducing yourself and explaining your character's reason for joining the party (characters don't have the knowledge that players do).

Well... she needs a liter of whiskey for a potion she is brewing. Her house is across the street, and she introduces herself to the party. The potion goes wrong and the house explodes. The party remembers her running across the street and going inside the house. They rush to find Sagiri kneeling down next to the rubbles of her house. The only thing she has is the "Great Book of Potions." The Elixer of Life requires something from a nearby dungeon, and without any of her potions, she asks the party to help her. Even though it is supposed to be temporary, she joins the party (forever) to gather the rest of her ingredients.

WHOOPS!! Sorry about that! Your character's weaponry and other equips should be coming along with special abilities and status raisers that should be superior to mine in a way. Does that sound good?

Anyway, igo, think of what your equipment can do to boost your stats in any way possible. Oh, Rast and Kamihoko, same goes for you guys!
