i'm pretty sure he's running idtech 3 (the quake 3 engine) here, as this is inconsistant with the other 2, and its not unreal.
also due to the way the quake 3 maps i don't see him getting rpg maker maps running on this
the level had rooms over rooms, which you can't do with 2d mapping "unless he's employing the duke nukem trick" (putting multiple stories in a building, by putting it in the 2d map once, and then having the renderer split it into multiple floors)
but that only works with sprite based affairs, besides that id tech 3 doesn't use 2d maps
just because someone packed the source code to quake 3 into a rpgVX executable doesn't mean much as, he already said this wasn't mapped in VX, meaning absolutely nothing from VX is being used in the creation of this, i don't know how he has the engine incorporated, but i don't see this going anywhere
