Gardening event, i dont care if script, i prefer a event, though. Options

so i'm making my game, and no it's no "farmville" game,
it's some adventure RPG type game. But i want a area that
allows the player to grow his own crops and make his own
garden.

As an extra, it would be great if they can
decorate the garden area.

so can i do this with a event/script ~event, i prefer~
