This will be the first "publicly" released game that I am working on. It is completely based off of the tv show.


this is just a few screenshots for what I threw together in a day. I will be working on the menu layout and skill sets etc.. so it will actually look totaly different in the finished project. Also the Character sets I am using are temporary until I can make some better ones.

I started this a day ago so no Idea when I'm going to release a demo. This will be a fairly large project starting from season 1 all the way to the season 8 comic book. This is a project I began as a request from my Girlfriend and I intend to finish it even if it takes a long time lol.

Features:
Working on an Animated title screen. (Not sure if I will keep this idea.)
Takentai SBS with ATB
Animated Enemies
Custom Classes for each character
Weapons and equipment from the tv show
Custom Stats, skills, level system etc..
Party Changing
Bestiary
Script from the tv show
Quest Tracker
Custom Tiles based off the tv show
Mini Games
Puzzles
Item Creation
Cooking
and Much Much more.

The main quest line will follow the entire series separated into chapters for each season. I will also be adding side quests and other activities that will make the game less Linear.

If you would like to contribute to this project and have your name in the credits just let me know. Currently I am in need of 3x4 or 4x4 animated battlers for enemies in Character set form, and Sets for the Main Characters and people in Sunnydale. I may need help with scripting in the distant future since I am just learning.

The menus look very nice but Tankentai might not be the best battle system to do this. Some sort of on-screen battle system would follow the games a bit better, unless you aren't following the XBOX/GBA games, then it's understandable.

Edit: There's no characters and story section either, so there isn't much else to comment on.

I don't intend to follow Any console games. This will be an rpg but set in the buffy universe. As I said in my post the story follows the TV series
so basically anyone who has watched buffy should know the Characters and the Story. As for new comers to the series I will eventually add more about it when I'm ready to release a demo.
