I have matched 2 tilesets for a map but the fence, walls, trees and vegetable shadows are paler, I have even tried to make the 'shadow' square black on the tile set but it stays paler than it should be. I used paint to do by the way. Any idea/solution? thanks :3 (I have downloaded custom tileset creator linked in another post I will try that but if there is another solution I'd prefer it I guess)

Thanks again^^

I think all the shadows in the tileset originally are slightly see through already, which paint can't deal with. Maybe try downloading a trial version of Photoshop or something like that and see if you get the same problem?

use photoshop, reduce the shadow opacity to 40% or whatever you like
(warning: after finish doing photoshop and you open the file with paint then saved it, you need to redo the photoshop again)

also, if you've made your shadow black (0,0,0 on RGB) you should ensure that your tileset is not set to partial transparency for that color.
