Heres a random game that I made up...read all of the rules to make sure you understand...


First of all, pick a class:
FIGHTER
ROUGE
MAGE

Now, determine your stats based on the class you chose.

HP
-------------------------------------------------------------
FIGHTER
HP=total post count
ROUGE
HP=total post count divided by 2
MAGE
HP=total post count divided by 3


ATK
----------------------------------------------------------
FIGHTER
ATK= total post count divided by 10
ROUGE
ATK= total post count divided by 12
MAGE
ATK=total post count divided by 15


DEFENSE
--------------------------------
damage is reduced by 50% when defending


STAMINA
--------------------------------------------
You have 3 stamina points per turn(post), unless you are a rouge. Rouges have 4 points.

Stamina drains as follows:
Attacking- drains 3 stamina
Defending: Drains 2 stamina
Charge for Overdrive: drains 1 stamina
Overdrive: drains 8 stamina
Recover: takes one turn to do, but recovers 2 stamina points.

NOTE: After using Overdrive, you will be in the negatives for stamina. You must then use your turns to "recover" untill you are at full stamina again.

MAGE SPECIFIC STUFF
-------------------------------------------------
If your class is a mage, you can cast spells. You design which spells you make, but you must follow the directions for spellcrafting below:

SPELLCRAFTING
--------------------------------------------------
When making a spell, you have 20 points to work with. Use them as follows to create a spell:
DAMAGE: spell starts at healing or hurting equal to your total posts divided by 12. for every two points spent here, it reduces that number by 1.
RANGE: spell starts at targetting only 1 person. For every 3 points added here, it allows 1 more target.

NOTE: When you level up, damage and range of spells increase by 1.


FINAL STUFF
-------------------------------------------------------------------
When you first join the battle, post the following stuff:

CHARACTER NAME
CHARACTER LEVEL
CLASS
HP
ATK
STAMINA
SPELLS:*



*Mages make 4 spells at the beggining of the game. These can be anything from healing to hurting spells, or reduce damage spells. These are the only spells you get,
so choose them wisely.


LEVELING UP
--------------------------------------------------------
The final thing...Whenever you kill a player who is the same level as you, you level up. Leveling up adds extra HP depending on your class:
FIGHTER:10
ROUGE: 8
MAGE:5

As stated above, Mages also get bonuses to there spells.
If you kill a player that is one level higher than you, you gain 2 levels.
If you kill a player more than one level higher than you, you gain 1 level for every 2 levels higher that player is.



Finally: When you die, update your stats based on your currnet post count. Also, if you are a mage, remember to post the current damage and number of targets that each of your spells has.

Special Abilities
Fighters and Rouges nwo get to choose one special ability(mages have spells)


FIGHTER(choose one)
-------------------------------------
*Ripost: when physicly attacked, 50% of the damage is returned to attacker

*Cleave: does 50% of normal damage, but doubles damage done to target next turn.

*Lightning Fast: Can attack twice per turn without draining any extra stamina, but attacks only do 50% damage(usefull for attacking multiple opponents)

*Rage: when life is 25% or below, an attack can be made doing 50% more damage.(can only be used ONCE while below 25% life.)

ROUGE(choose one)
--------------------------------
*Sneak Attack: Once every 5 turns, you can deal 100% damage to an enemy regardless of if they're defending or not. Ability "Ripost" does not take effect.

*Hide: once every 5 turns, or once every time your life falls below 25%, you can hide away for two turns, taking no damage. Ability "sneak attack" can still hit you.

*Retreat: When life falls below 15%, you may leave the battle. In 8 turns, you return with 50% of your total life. This can only be used once per life(cannot be used again untill you die)

*Fury: when your life falls below 10%, you can launch a sneak attack dealing 50% of the targets total life.

NOTE: Mages do not get special abilities, because they have four spells. Also, Special Abilities are NOT overdrive skills. On a final note, when you die, you will ressurect in 10 turns, unless a mage heals you . When you die, you can choose a new Special Ability to replace your old one if you don't like it. you can do this ONCE(for now).

The funny thing is, I was posting and stuff, and then the thought came to me: I should make another "battle on the forums" type game. I'll give you credit for the Hp and ATk stuff, though. dividing your total # of posts was a clever Idea. I'll post my character in a second...I forgot my post count...

Don't worry, in 10 turns you'll come back with more life(your a rouge, your life will be 50% of your total post count)

Also, remembr: you don't gain a thing from killing people who are lower levels then you.

I do! Let us team up and defeat jens. Why? because he's the only other live player besides me. Luckily, darkling hasn't joined the battle(yet). When he does...we're screwed. . .

Estimated Stats of Darkling if he chooses to be a fighter:
HP over 1000

Just think of the damage he would cause...

by the way, remember: every class has enough stamina to defend and charge for their overdrive attacks in one turn. stamina doesn't effect how much damage you take. It just affects what you can do each turn.
