(Huh? Did you read how my character was introduced? He's a swordsman, but he also can use magic.)

[Rast]

Problem solved. I edited my post around(the one that used to say "boy? who are you calling...")

Tatsu: Well, I figured you for a fool anyway.
Ki'in: Which one?
Tatsu: I KNEW you were a fool!

[Rast]

Rast:"I don't owe it to either of you to stand around as I'm insulted."
*pulls the knife from his sword and flings it at Tatsu*
Rast:"Take your damn knife back."

Tatsu: Insulted? You two wanted to kill each other! Only the fools live by this, Swordslinger!
(a patronizing term for those who kill by accident)
Ki'in: (whispering) ...You want to fight him, don't you, sis?
Tatsu: (whisper) Yes, if he is strong enough, i will fake my death using fairy stone, and leave behind....something good for the magic swordsman.
Rast: (not listening, as he is infuriated by the lowly term, swordslinger)...
Tatsu: Toss it to me as a pebble....
Ki'in takes the needle, and makes it very small, and round. He then throws it to tatsu, and she catches it.

Fairy stone can be any shape, and any element. Ki'in and his sister protect it from anyone who can use magic, as the mage who steals it wil then be super-powerful, not just physically, but magically as well. Most mages are good people though.

[Rast]

Rast, still angered by the insult, turned around and started to walk off. Suddenly, he heard a cry from behind him:

"Defend yourself, swordslinger!"

Tatsu had turned the fairy stone into a giant square, blue block with a picture of a tounge on it. I appeared between Tatsu and Rast.
Tatsu: Hi, I'm Tatsu, this is my block.
It expanded and surrounded rast like a cylindrical container.
Tatsu went through the wall and said to rast:
"The challenge for you is a limited space, and a wall that listens to my words."
A fist pops out of the wall, and rast, being caught by surprise, barely dodges it.
Rast: I'll show you the swordslinger!

[Rast]

Tatsu:"Will you now? good, I'll expect as much!"

Rast:"You'll get more than you bargained for."

Tatsu:"Tough words, swordslinger."

The fist once again flew towards Rast. Although it was unnoticed by Tatsu, Rast faked a clumsy step. The fist slammed into him, but the only thing seen was it colliding with the wall. Rast hbad slipped away at the last moment and darted beside Tatsu. After a slightly comlicated menuever, he had her in a position that prevented all movement. Any movement whatsoever would cause the blade to dig into her throat.

Tatsu: I...can't....(winks at Ki'in)
Rast: Can't what, tatsu? move?
Rast sees tatsu melting from his grip, and all that is left is Ki'in and a blue blade with an insignia on it (2 shields making a heart shape.)
Ki'in: Take it.

[Rast]

*glances at the blade, and cautiously picks it up*
Rast: "And what would this be?"

Ki'in: It is fairy stone, and with time you will be able to handle it. But do not try to force it into shape, or it may try to bend your own will, and kill you. But master it, and no locked door, no high cliff, no river, stream, or ocean will be in your way. Only my sister has mastered fairy stone, and she sacrificed herself for who she thought could save us all.
But if you do not want the blade, I will keep it until next person decides to cross Tatsu. even in death, her will is imposed on the sword.

[Rast]

Rast:"Hmmm..."save us all"? what do you mean?"

Ki'in: Gray, The one that won't die, and that weird dark thingy making all this fog! There are also about 12,000 demons, with leaders and all that. But magic combined with fairy stone and infinite skill can do anything, even genocide!

[Rast]

Rast:"Sounds like something I've seen before..."

Ki'in:"?"

Rast:"Are you familiar with the Philosopher's Stone?"

Ki'in: No, I've trained with nothing but fairy stone my whole life. Watch!
The sword in rast's hand became a pole matching the shape of rast's grip, thereby making him drop it. Before it hit the floor it became a beetle, and walked up rast's leg.

[Rast]

Rast:"Interesting. The philosopher's stone is almost exactly like this "fairy stone", as you call it. The only difference is that the Philosopher's Stone is blood red."

Ki'in: (extremely curious): Who have you seen using it!?

[Rast]

Rast:". . .I myself once beheld it. I don't know where it is now...All I remember about it is it was blood red, and could do all you say this stone can, but without needing to master it."

*glances almost unnoticably at his own blade.

Rast:(thoughts): Hmmm...the legend of Fire and Ice. The story prophesized that a weapon of the devil and a weapon of god would pass through a hero's hands. The blades would meet in batle, and the hero would prove himself worthy to bear both blades in the name of justice. Legend told that the bearer would be the only one capable of saving humanity.

(hey, that could make a great epic escapade itself!)
