Hi all.

I have a small issue with tiles. I was wondering if you might know what's the reason for it or perhaps somebody had similar situation and found a way to fix it.

As you can see on the screenshot below :

The character can walk on the walls. It would be not a problem at all if the tile was set as passable.

As the second screenshot shows :

the tile is set to be impassable yet still you can walk on it.

I am sure that this is correct tile-set used for this map. I've triple checked it and it doesn't happen in any other map. Only on this one.

Any ideas what might be the reason for this ?

Are there any passable events near the walls?
Sometimes they could be the problem.
Anyway, is the wall passable from any direction or just from some tiles?
If not, can you post a picture of the map editor view?
Just to see events positions, etc, etc...

As you can see there are no events on the wall. All of the events nearby, like flowers or the table on the right are simple 'show text' ones.

You can walk on the wall from anywhere. The tiles in the circle (image from previous post) are the one's which you can walk on. The top wall (wooden one) is not accessible.

I've even changed tile-set to check if it will work properly with different one. Nothing, still the same you still can walk on walls.

Did you use any "set move route" events prior to this room? Make sure your character's "through" properties are turned off.

What Ratty524 said. Not turning off a through event from a move route will allow a character to continue going through stuff. Try checking your move route events for a "through"

There is no set move for the character. It's just a room you can walk into.
And I'm sure that character is not set as 'through' as it's only the wall it can walk through. It can't go through the other stuff.

No idea what's going on. Especially that everything works fine with other maps.
Do you think that making this map from the scratch might work ? Is it even worth trying ?

What's the top left tile in tab B checked as? It needs to be a star at all times, as this effects the passability of the auto-tiles.

I had no idea that that particular tile has to be set as 'star'.
I've changed it and now it works perfectly fine.
