@ShinGamix Thanks I removed the link. Rapidshare is really a very bad site in my opinion. Not only it has one of the longest waiting times, but deleted my new file within few days only... Too bad. That's not a reliable site at all. I will ignore it from now and on. I will try find other more reliable sites that don't delete a file so fast

The Update 2 will feature more things than it was expected to do, including the addition of new items: [*] New Item/Weapon will be to Project Zelda Engine: The Magic Powder! Which actually is the upgrade for the Mysterious Mushroom, and has several uses in the game. It can even be used as a weapon, however, it does not kills the enemies. It just weakens them or transforms them into something different. The Magic Powder, also, can lift curses from the innocent people, or make them regain their original status/forms they somehow lost - by force or accidentally. The Magic Powder is far from being useless in-game!

Read the first post please. You misunderstood something it seems. The Update Patch 2, of which the Door zoom, the Magic Powder, the bug fixes, etc, are part, hasn't been released yet. Its pointless to re-download it every day. The files you re-download, are the same as they were 2 week ago, when I uploaded the Project Zelda Engine in the RPGRevolution Forums... the files are still the Update Patch 1... Don't confuse the new information I post frequently, with the upload of new versions of Project Zelda Engine. The Update Patch 2 will come in the near future, probably in 3-5 days. EDIT: fixed grammar.

Question! Question! What does this mean? " Script '==================' line 0: Errno::EACCES occured. Permission denied - C:\windows\Fonts\RetGanon.tff " I sent a pic of it in the attachments.

@Donutdude Welcome, Donutdude. The problem you have posted, has to do with the "Auto-Font Install" script of the Project Zelda Engine, which auto-installs all the new fonts to your PC, for you. You are not alone - several other players have the same problem, they reported it even before the time I picked up Project Zelda Engine and started playing it. Here you can find reports about the problems this script causes to the players. http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/sear...=en&ct=clnkI think I am gonna remove this script forever, and give instructions to the players how to install a new Font file to their PC, manually. (In case you don't know, Project Zelda Engine comes with Zelda-like fonts. Wait a few days, for the Update Patch 2, which fixes your problem. I will release the Update Patch 2 in three to four days

Appreciate the help. Is there anyway you could tell me what "Script is Hanging" Means? I didn't screw with anything, I swear. It's maddening knowing there's a Zelda engine that good and my computer won't let me play it yet

For your first post, silent, i would recommend the use of some spoilers. for the topic in general, i would say good job! Many have tried to make an Rpg Maker VX Zelda Starter Kit and failed. Since its a starter kit, does that mean all the sprites, sounds, music, scripts, and what not are available for use outside of the maker? @ donutdude: If you get the error "the script is hanging" it means its taking to long to load. ussually if rmvx doesnt load within 10 seconds, it cancels itself and shuts down. try to run it without any other windows open.

@Prelude Dikter Now I know what that means Thanks...but still, it insists on saying the script is hanging...in more detail, as soon as the RGSS Player opens, I begin to hear the Title Music, but I don't see any visuals. This is immediately followed by the RGSS Player becoming unresponsive, and THEN the "script is hanging" Message appears...is there any possible way to fix that? Or am I just screwed until the next update comes? It's still good to know that it's not my computer that's just being slow, though.

@ Prelude Dikter: Thanks man! I didn't knew that people tried to create a Project Zelda Engine for VX. Too bad to hear that it failed. How comes? I guess VX is not so good setup for the creation of Zelda Games, due to its bad Mapping tools, and other downgrades compared to XP? About spoilers: what spoilers you are talking about? About the resources: All the resources you find in Project Zelda Engine, are allowed to be used outside of it, but don't claim them as yours. Give credits to their authors, if they request it. You can find them on net, by googling for Zelda sprites, music, tilesets, etc. @ donutdude: "Script is Hanging" is an error that happened to several players at the past, in various demos, including to players who tried to play Project Zelda Engine. Sadly, I don't know of any way how to solve it. But some ideas come in my mind: if you try move your Project Zelda Engine to a different Hard Disk driver, or if you set the Project Zelda Engine's compatibility settings to "Run in Compatibility Mode with Windows XP Service Pack 2" may help as well. EDIT: Another idea!!!!! Run Project Zelda, go to Script Editor, delete the Auto Font Install script, save and close the Project Zelda Engine. Then go to its folder directory and find the Fonts Folder. Install all the fonts you see inside, by just double-clicking them, and try play the game. I hope this fixes the "Script is Hanging" Error. Let me know if it has been fixed.

Unfortunately, it still won't work. I deleted the script and everything. In case you were wondering (you probably weren't but I'll tell you anyway), I use Windows 7. I'll upload a video for you (It won't be in HQ, the max upload size is 2 MB) of what happened, although it probably won't tell you anything you don't already know. Could there be a problem with the "$msg = Hermes_Global_Settings.new" and/or the "$game_party.add_actor(1)" script that could be causing the problem (just because I get stuck at startup, maybe one of those is the one that is "Hanging")... On another note, thanks for including those Font styles. I've actually been looking for those. I could get a friend to download it and see if they have the same problems, if you want. I'm sure I could find a few that would be willing to try it out.
