Yes, well I work on many pieces at once and I work very quickly on pieces. At some point I will slow down and make serious studies on one piece that I already have in my mind and it is a fantasy scene painting with mostly environments as a focus. For now I have deadlines I push towards so that makes some of my things may be seem rushed.

I think, for the line art, I am going to do two images from it. One with colors and one with manga style shading, as an experiment. I've been getting some offers to help draw manga, so I'll use this for my practice though I don't know if I would enjoy drawing manga because of the fact that I like working specifically in colors....

Yes, it is a left eye on the realism. I am making realism tests for certain body parts because I want to may be become a texture artist for some 3D realistic models. I am also learning the innards of a new 3D program I have to push my art into the realm of 3D. I've been making detailed character reference sheets and object model sheets for my first 3D experiments already. Well I also am in contact with a 3D artist who may be rendering the cut scenes of Fragments into 3D and I would want to become the texture artist for this. This is why I practice, practice, practice.

Thank you! I am looking through his Deviant Art, too, and it states that he uses a program called Maya. I'm not sure I can get that program. I've downloaded both Milkshape 3D and Blender 3D and I don't know if those programs are similar to Maya or not. I only downloaded the programs that were free to me.

That makes sense, he uses a much better program because he isn't just starting up. =]

For beginning in the 3D design world, I think those programs will work for you. I haven't used them myself though.
Of course, I'm sure Ember could recommend the best free software available for 3D stuffs, if he hasn't already mentioned it to you.

One thing I noticed about the girl, is that her chest is a little wide, which makes it appear as though her arms come out from it rather than from the sides. If you get what I mean. ^^

Yes I noticed too and it was a mistake in the way I drew for the angle but I only noticed it after I started coloring so with the next character I will hopefully draw it better. I think I have finished her in the way I want to color.... Good enough to put into the game I think.

The artwork will be coming a little slower again than usual. I've been hired to make some character concepts for a few games and I'm working hard on them for the time being. I want to take my time to make them look as good as I possibly can. I will have a few smaller request pieces soon to be viewed though. (:

I'm also announcing one of my very own smaller projects. It is a small "movie" made with RPG Maker XP called 'Dearest You' which will feature an original song (The song is made specifically for the project.) sang by Kurui as well. I will draw a few character portraits for this movie. It is dedicated to my wonderful girlfriend, Jessamine.

Also, the idea of dedicating a game/movie to your girlfriend is pretty interesting. Do you intend on putting her into the game/movie?

Yes, she's a character in the movie too. I've used a sprite generator for the images right now though because well I don't know how to make sprites yet.... Ahahaha.

Ah ok, so these are like the basic design and you'll go back and sprite them later? Or do you have someone else helping you with that bit?

The idea looks great, though I'm a bit sceptical in terms of the story (as I've seen many stories where the writer was a character and had other close friends as other characters and it was pretty shoddy). Just hope that your story is going to be something much better. =D

Ah I may get someone to make my sprites for me or learn it myself. The story isn't so much of a story as it is a music video with some small scenes. Well so think of it as an animated music video but with RPG Maker sprites as the animations but it will have a few cut scenes before the music starts.
