That totally defeats the purpose of this topic. I don't have the attention span to make my own music like that, nor do I have the will to do so. And what do we call these types of people? Lazy people. And what do lazy people do? They hire people who are willing to give requests.

well it's just a simple sequencer really :-)

but the simplicity of the interface it was makes it a good inspirational tool.

you cant make more than a "jingle" - and you can't export it,

BUT

its absolutely brilliant for making (read: inspiring) melody, helped by the fact that its quite a "pure" sound..

Well shit, after stalking this thread for a bit, I thought you were going to suck, very fucking badly. But honestly, that was ok. Could use some higher end sounds, but that's a preference thing. The arrangement itself is alright, could use some better dynamics to accentuate the louder parts, but other than that, pretty cool

The sounds don't suck too bad for a 75 dollar software, but I'm looking into better VST's. The percussion sounds just downright suck. Dynamics aren't all too easy to work with in the software, but I'll keep that in mind.

<_<; I guess man. Since it was for Parakeet's game I wasn't sure if he wanted it to be public or kept under wraps until atleast a demo came out.

EDIT: I dun't like it.
So far it didn't meet my expectations. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but it didn't meet the requirements that I have requested. I wished for a lengthy, epic piece. By lengthy I meant sort of 5-9 minutes. Probably should have specified that.
I said I wanted it to be loud and encumbering. It just didn't seem to be all chaotic war to me.
I also said I wanted an intense ending. By intense, I wished for a barrage of instruments blasting at once together. And perhaps those instruments fade out as a violin or cello continue to play. Maybe even a harp.
If you don't feel like remaking it or anything, I'm fine with that.

Yeah, you should probably go with someone else to write your stuffs, I'm not too good with following requests yet. Give me some time. I'm happy with how it turned out, kinda sucks that you're not. I really couldn't think of anything to fill up another couple of minutes with, though. But, meh. I tried my best, hopefully someone else can find use for it.

If you take a look at my avatar, you'll see a ridiculous logo of a happy shark wearing a party hat, alongside with some background graphics and a title. That is the logo for my band, Happy Sharks. We have, in my opinion, the best band name ever.

We're coming out with a free-to-download cover album entitled something like "This is a cover album by Happy Sharks.". It's free because I can't be bothered to get the rights from all the managers and what-not, and by the time we pay for the rights, we'll probably make no profit anyway. So. No use. But I may be making a topic somewhere showing some of our covers and such. SO KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED.

I really liked the orchestra you did. The way you arranged your snares, strictly gorgeous. I especially like what I assume to be a organ? it really brought out that dark castlevania feel to it. As for the tuning of the notes, um, it didn't sound cluttered, actually the amount of instruments you grouped together was well done, but the tuning was really off. Once the choirs kicked in, I thought maybe you could've added abit more to those sections and maybe tune the choir to fit that sort of spectrum. I really liked the gaps you put in there, way better than mine. Actually, I don't really use gaps thats probably why I find your style very unique.

In general it was a pretty good attempt. Just keep at it man, trust me, I had a lot of people telling me how they didn't like my stuff, so I was glad there was folks out there who gave their critique, which in turn made me a hell of a lot better. So yeah, just keep at it man.

His stuff is REALLY good. When I first started, my patterns sucked...horribly.
I started listening to his stuff, my patterns got a lot better.
He even told me he didn't care for any of my pieces because they all sounded like wind to him lol.

By tuning do you mean the chords?

I think I made too many chord changes for such a slow choir sound. The sound really sustains, it drowns things out sometimes.
