I remember watching one episode of this. It is REALLY good. I recommend this series to any developer who wants to make good games, because you can learn a lot with each episode.

Well I've only watched a couple of these so far but I gotta say they are interesting and entertaining.
Its only really conceptual stuff (I was expecting more about gameplay mechanics than I've seen so far) but its just nice to see videogames being analysed in the same manner as the more 'highbrow' art forms like literature or music. A real 'how far we've come' feeling.

This is the first I've heard of the series... it is indeed quite good. It gives you a good feel of where the game industry is heading and where it should head. Combining that with looking at games from a more introspective view while giving the viewers some small but valuable nuggets of information from a known AAA developer make this series an awesome tool for those looking to get into game development.

Of course it is a good idea also to remember that many things those videos tells to anybody should not be taken as a mountainous facts at all times.

Game design thrives from fact that not all games are aimed for everybody by following one long check list about "this is how it must be" stuff. Which might be seen as a bad new/already used design choice for some upcoming game might make other group defend it to a bitter end.

Good series for an entertainment value.

I've just done watching all the episodes. Needless to say, i LOVE it. They really give you really interesting information, and its a series that I hope they'll continue doing for some time. The episode about Transgaming is just awesome, and its not just for programmers, but for designers, composers and even casual gamers and such

It's sure worth checking out.
