Hiya.

I've been working on my game on the 2000 engine for about a year or so now, made lots of progress and so far everyone I've let test play has loved it. I wasn't quite aware of the 2003 or VX engine until a few weeks ago (insert laughter here), so I picked up 2003 just to see how it is. Well, I have to admit it definitetly has more potential, but... but I've worked so long on 2000.... dag yo.

So I've heard 2003 is backward-compatible with 2000, set aside the battles and it relative system. But when I try to just gently move my project folders from 2000 to 2003, nothing really comes out of it.

Is it true or not that 2003 is backward compatible with 2000's graphics, progress, etc? If it isn't I'll finish my game on 2000 and use 2003 or VX for its sequel. Any help would be loved!

I'm sure this has been asked before, but bear with me... I'm new tongue.gif
