Item Screen Modification Help Options

I found a script here that is exactly what I need in my game, when you hit Esc it gives you a menu that consists of Item,Save or Quit.....

But it doesn't show the HP for the characters, even when you try to heal them in the item menu. Is there a way to add the characters HP in the item screen? I would ask on the topic it was posted but it would be necroposting and the creator was banned, so I don't have any other options. /=
