I was playing No More Heroes recently and realised that you could probably pit Travis Touchdown against anything and it would be an awesome fight. Psycho Mantis, RE3's Nemesis, even Petey Piranha would provide the involuntary assassin with an excellent fight opportunity.
I spent the next half hour or so thinking of awesome VG fights I'd love to see, as if someone had just released the biggest, best, yet inexplicable lawsuit free fighting game. Or MUGEN, I guess.
What fights would you guys like to see? My examples are in three classes: Henchmen, Protagonists, Bosses.
Henchmen (common enemies) Silent Hill's Nurse vs Metal Gear Solid's Johnny: One of the creepiest enemies in videogame history meets that one guard who runs to the bathroom every 30 seconds. The freaky nurse is too much for Johnny's weak bowels, and he shits himself to death (totally legit death).
Protagonists NMH's Travis Touchdown vs Cloud Strife: Cloud is actually parodied (hilariously) in NMH2. In that game, he gets his ass handed to him by Travis. No change here; gaming's most overrated protagonist finally suffers from chronic back pain after years of wielding that massive sword. Travis goes in for the kill. This was a terrible fight! (And yes, I'm just that biased against FFVII)
Bosses Metal Gear REX vs RE4's Osmond Saddler An interesting one. Two large bodies of destruction, one synthetic, one organic (albeit thunderously mutated). Leon traditionally defeats Saddler with that rocket launcher. REX has several, so the outcome would seem obvious right? Yep, Saddler bites the bullet (or missile) again.
Just for shits and giggles KH's Sora vs The Skifree Snowman Skifree everyday. He cannot be contained.
Haha great thread idea. Unfortunately Blinky (Pacman) wins Vs anything unless they possess the fabled energiser.

You can't find more batshit insane than this. They'd just rend at each other until nothing is left especially if you consider that both are quite eager to resort to blow themselves up to ensure the kill.

Indeed that would be a *SUPER* fight! Not sure if Gill cheats as much as Seth did in SFIV, but Capcom sure love having muscly naked dudes as their final bosses, huh? :/

Hmmm at the moment I would have to go:
Duke Nukem vs Jack from Bioshock.
Mainly because I didnt wanna say anything relating to Halo, but mostly because it would truly be the definition of an epic fight (duke would smash Jack with his mighty foot and shrug off his plasmids but then he would just be revived at the nearest vita-chamber) and most certainly not because I play too many about as many FPS's as I do RPG's. (a.k.a. a shit ton)
