@X-M-O: Thanks!
There are tutorials and sites about those things which I intend to learn more about. This is more for practice, but when I get better I'll keep that in mind! :3
@Knot: Thanks, Knot!

Wow, that's really quite amazing, thanks! I hope I manage to make one half as good. Even plain it's pretty impressive!

I looked at Googlemaps and we couldn't see the rivers unless we zoomed in 200% xD But I always thought it would be different on this type of map because its more along the lines of showing where things are and stuff.
I just realized the western part of my world doesn't have room for a lot of rivers...oh well I suppose! xD

That's a great example to work towards. =D You aren't far behind, you know. I would recommend that the river on the bottom-right be moved a bit more to the right. It looks as though it is touching the ocean a second time on that one part... hard to describe what I'm looking at, lol. Sorry. XD

Looks good! I don't think you need any more rivers now. You'll run out of land soon. It's perfect the way it is. =D

Oh wow, lots of updates! D= The black/white image looks cool, because the world is all put together and looks like a "could have been" Europe. =D Very nicely done with the second image (the one with the red arrow) it puts everything into perspective. =] The last one looks amazing! The vegetation and such looks great! A little fuzzy, but still good.

Yea, sorry about that and thankies! The tutorial said I should have a Pangaea of my world to help figure out latitude etc etc, so I've been working hard on it. The only problem is that the mountain range and trees and my new little marsh south will most likely have to change due to the new understandings I have lol And that's it! Fuzzy! Yes, its fuzzy! I've been trying to figure out why I feel it doesn't look good...you just helped! I'm gonna go mess with the settings and see if I can fix it pronto!

Here's an idea to help with the fuzziness problem: check out this image. Notice the patches of grass, and how they differ and such? Perhaps you could try making some details like these appear on the map, that way you can discern forests from plains, etc. =]

Okay, I was messing with it last night and the fuzziness is used to turn the pattern overlay, into something is suppose to appear like grass. I can't change it if I'm using the current pattern...so I'll have to look for different patterns first, or find a way to lessen the pattern I'm using now xD
I'll post an update as soon as possible! :3

Sure! That would be awesome, X-M-O! Anything you think could be used as a forest, I'll try out! :3

Here are a few that you may want to tinker with and see if they work for you (note that I haven't used them myself, but I was browsing this site for resources at one point, which is why it was in my bookmarks, and I found a few that you might be able to use): Carbon SheetsDark Grungy PatternsBeige Grunge PatternsTread Plate PatternsJust which version of Photoshop they are usable in before downloading, as you may not be able to use all of them (I don't know which version of Photoshop you use). =]

Awesome! Awesome! I think the second and last just might do. Shall I post a image for each one? Thanks for sharing, X-M-O! :33
