Here's an Update for Christmas!!!



It's been 2 years since I've drawn something for Christmas, but I decided: why not do so this year? Looks like Kate has taken in for Santa and has to deliver the gifts along with her Elf/brother. It's seems like it's going to be a long night, good luck you two, you're going to need it. Looking back at my first Christmas drawing I'm so happy to see how much I've improved over these years. I've decided that I would make this into a gift for my family. I put a lot of work into this drawing and I hope they like it.

At last, my first drawing for 2012 ^^


Something I've been wanting to draw for quite a while now. I decided why not draw my favorite character from Blazblue? I enjoyed drawing this one. Her childlike nature is so funny and cute, so I decided to make the background sort of match that personality. I also tried drawing in front view; it's been so long since I've drawn this way....

Sadly, I didn't quite have all the right colors required for her, so I improvised a little ^^;

Wow, you've done very well on this one.
It is plainly obvious that you like this character, as you seem to have put a lot more effort in doing her justice by the picture. ^^

Yep another drawing so soon as well as one of flaky, I just couldn't help myself. :3 I decided at the time why not experiment with different poses while I was at it? So that's what I did and I thought the results came out well. ^^ And no she's not doing what you think she's doing, that was the only backfire the pose had when I showed it to my friends in rl. ^^;
Also, I know the background is lazy again, but that isn't the main focus of the picture, now is it?

Well I really don't see much art like this anymore, didn't know if ppl still did it like this, I cant say as I like it as in the color method, its color pencil right? The color just doesnt fill the characters, I like the artwork well enough but the color just stands out to me in a bad way. Do you use anyother methods to color?

Yeah it's color pencil, I've been wanting to get away from this type of media for a while, but as of now I don't have any other methods of coloring. I can't use photoshop, because I lost it when my com crashed (my teacher was nice enough to let me use the school CD to get it) I've been trying to learn how to use gimp, but I haven't found a good tutorial. If you guys can help me find a good tutorial, please let me know.

Putting aside the frustration of this games bugs, I haven't enjoy a game as much as I did with skyrim. That said I decided to draw my character as well as add a bio of my own. ^^
I had a great time drawing this one. I'm trying to get into the habit of adding more and more detail, also I've been thinking that this might be my last drawing in colored pencil as I might try and experiment with gimp. ^^;

He is Khajiit. A mage, thief, expert of smithing, master of one-handed weapons and expert of archery. His adventure began when his trading caravan was attacked during the ambush of imperial army. Being the sole survivor, he was captured along with the stormcloaks only to find out that the dragons have returned and the discovery of him being dragonborn. He has not yet chose a side in the war of Skyrim. He is an enemy of the thalmor. He is Listener for the dark brotherhood, a leader for the companions, in which he gave up the power of lycanthropy. He is the shadow for the thieves guild. He's an opportunist, doing almost anything for money. Though his actions have been dark, he has a good heart, feeling regret to those he’s wrong and killed. He almost couldn’t bring himself to cut down the honorable emperor of Tamiel and fulfilled his last request. He saved the world and Sovengard from Audiun’s wrath and chose to let Parthenux live. He wears the hooded thalmor robes, with the ebony gantlets and boots. He uses the daedric sword and bow, with flames and healing being one of his primary spells.

Heh heh haven't uploaded anything lately. I've been wanting to use gimp, however I haven't gotten around to doing so and getting used to inking with a mouse is just painfully annoying, so instead I decided to draw up some perspective sketches on my character Kate. More of my other characters will follow as well. This was good practice. ^^
