How have I not noticed this thread until now?! Your art style is....well simply amazing. I wish I had even an nth of your talent for art work. I really like your style and I hope your whole game is done 100% in your unique and colorful style. I would play the hedge out of your game if you did that!

The concept looks really good, it's hard to say how it'll look in game, of course, but if you can get the same effects in game that you have in your concept art, then I think you have a winner.

@Shaddowval: I'll probably do it lineless, because lined would be so very difficult, especially for stuff like grass or rocks, but I'll do my best to keep the effect >3<

Well this is the first time I really looked at your game and I just have a small note/suggestion, on your screen shots you have the char talking in text and you did the text box expand for only one sentence? This blocks a lot of the background of your game I think and just looks a bit off.

Its a simple call script command, i assume your using the UMS script? if not you can just get it on this site and open the demo and copy paste the examples, its just a simple command that changes the screen size back to 125/default size. I use the script myself and its great when I need to make a paragraph but not for normal text.
