I've noticed that everytime i delete a map (not a tileset), all the maps underneath that map get deleted as well. is there a way i can delete a map without having the other maps below that map deleted?

Sounds like you need to move the maps around so they aren't under the map you're getting rid of.

That's actually really easy to do-- just click on the icon for that map, and drag it, say, all the way up to the folder icon.

the dragging doesnt work. i click and hold on the map's icon, and i try to drag it somewhere, but when i let go, it stays where it is, and all the maps underneath it go in that map, like i have to click on that little + sign to open all the maps underneath that map. anyother suggestions? and shouldn't i drag the map all the way to the bottom instead of on top?

Try it again Drag and hold the Map you want to the FOLDER(Usually is the title of your game) make sure you Map that you are dragging is highlighting the map.

i'm trying but i have a lot of maps, so i have to scroll down to get to the map that i want to delete. but when i try to drag it up, it doesnt automatically scroll up, so how do i drag it up to the folder? what your telling me sounds simple, and trust me, i'm doing it right, but i can't reach the folder when i drag the map cuz it doesnt scroll up when i drag the map upwards.

Option 1:
Buy a Mouse with the Center Wheel to help you scroll. If you dont wanna buy it o well you will be unorganize. If you really have alot of maps.

Option 2:
Make your Map List Taller. Move your mouse on top of the map list and just under the TIle Sets until your mouse changes into a Resizing Mouse.

oh, i didn't think about my mouse's center wheel. ok i tried dragging my map to the folder, and i did it, but when i let go of the mouse once the map is on the folder, the map i dragged goes all the way to the bottom. but there's always like several maps that go down with it, even though i highlighted and dragged that one map. how do i make that single map go to the bottom, so that i can delete it without having any other map deleted as well?

Just make Sure the Map you want to Keep isnt In the One you are trying to delete.

Example
Map

+Map001
Map004

to

-Map001
~~Map002
~~Map003
Map004

If you want to keep 002 and 003 but want to delete 001 make sure you move 002 and 003 out of 001 map before delete 001 Map.

It should look like this

Map001
Map004
Map002
Map003

and the + symbol left of the Map Name should be gone if you remove all Map from it able you to delete the only map you want.

so if the map i want to delete doesn't have a + or a - sign beside it, i can delete it without having the maps beneath it deleted?
