I have seen the trial and patch up for a little while ,and I am wondering is it legal? huh.gif

It purely translates the Jap version into english, so that you can read it in english, it doesn't do anything else smile.gif

... Although I don't think Enterbrain would try to take down something that would give them such a powerful early US fanbase.
And they haven't lashed out against the... technically illegal... RM2k3 and RM2k fan translations, although that could just be because they're no longer making any profit out of the engines.

I guess I could try the trial out. Even though I won't understand it. I don't want anything illegal. Maybe I could use Google Translate to help. Also past expireacne with the makers will help me under stand.

Well, to be honest, nobody really cares. Esrever made that patch while waiting for the English release (normally next month). It also works with the full version actually, even though it's a bit weird with it.
You won't run into trouble because you download the English patch, that's for certain.

Okay. I am having a hard time though trying to understand it. When I downloaded the trial it had very little translation, almost none. So where is that link.

Yes. You can edit scripts, can't raise the number of items in the database, and can't save/open projects. It's just for evaluation purposes. You can buy the full version on Amazon.jp if you know someone in Japan who trust you enough with their credit card number. Or wait for the English version, in a few weeks.
