The starting location as of right now is not important but all character start in the same general area. All charcters know the area locations, towns, people ect...
The area is very rural, few villages spread out here and there...

Newly posted on trees and in village bars is a flyer...

Attention to all humans looking for work

Bio-Clad industries is looking for a few brave humans to further themselves in life. We are currently recruiting HUMANS ONLY for officer positions in our scientific and war based studies. Pay depends on your abilities and willingness. Please apply in the town of Bayfield.


Bayfield is a small town sitting on the edge of a large cotton field. The town's small harbor consists of 3 rarely used docks that extend 50ft out into a small bay. Several wooden cabins and 5 or 6 brick homes house the small population of about 100.

Upon entering Bayfield you see people scattered here and there. Some working in the fields, others walkin to and fro throught out the tiny market place. The destination of the flyer is easily found. A single story brick building with a Bio-clad sign above its open door. As you step inside you find yourself in a large room filled with people. The room is about 40ftx40ft and is completly bare of furniture except for a small desk at the far end. A man in a blue uniform occupies the desk and seems to be filling out paperwork. Everyone else in the room is either sitting or standing seemingly waiting. As you make your way to the desk the blue uniformed man looks up and says

"Greetings.. Write your name on this sheet and you will be called in order. Until your called please wait paitently."

You sign the sheet and find a open place to occupy while you wait to be called. You talk with the people around you (or dont, your choice) trying to pass the time. As your waiting the man calls names and somewhere someone stands up and goes through a door located in the far wall behind the desk. It seems like for every man that is called a new one enters the room and signs the sheet. Finally you are called and are motioned to go through the door. As you walk through you find yourself in a much smaller room, about 15ftx15ft. A small desk also occupies this room with another man in a blue uniform. He sits at the desk and as you enter he motions you to have a seat in a chair directly in front of the desk. Apon taking a seat the man introduces himself as Seargent lintholm.

" I will make this short and sweet, as you have seen I have alot of people to interview." he says " We here at Bio-Clad reward for hard-work, loyalty, and bravery and we reward well. We are looking for people to help test some of our inventions or even protect those testing them. You will get a chance to see and do some amazing things. If this sounds like something your interested in then I will ask you 2 questions."
"What makes you a good canidate and if you could pick one of these jobs what would it be?" He hands you a piece of paper....

"I cannot answer any questions. Simply give me your name and tell me your answers."

After you give him your answers he asks you to wait in another large room. This one is also filled with people, all of which went through the same interview and are waiting to see if they passed.

Post when you are ready, start from the moment you seen the flyer and go finish with you waiting in the room after your interview.

description of character- A young man wandering the world, looking for adventures.

Rast is walking along the streets, when he see's an interesting flyer. He makes his way to the destination it points out, and after a brief wait is asked some questions. After thinking for a few seconds, he gives his answer.

Rast:"I am Rast. i believe I would be a good canidate because I have nothing to do, and nowhere to go. I would be completly dedicated to this program. I would like to be a weapon specialist."


As instructed, he proceeds to the waiting room, and, too no suprise, he waits.

Rast as you wait you notice only a few men enter the room with you, one enters about every 20 minutes or so. They to wait patiently. You chit chat with a couple but all seem to know nothing more than this company is a large outfit that has been known to create cybernetics, bio-enhancments, and large mechs.
After what feels like forever a man enters(also in a blue uniform and calls your name.) He leads you to a small garage located in the back of the building. Here sits 2 apcs(armored personel carriers). Congratulations rast, you have been selected to be apart of the team. Your training starts immediatly. Climb into the vehicle and you will be transfered to the barracks.

The Apc is hot with one small window, which you watch the passing scenery. You pass through 20ft tall solid metal gate that leads you into the base. Apon arrival you are shown the barracks and the mess hall. You are then introduced to your commander and trainer Lt. Jacobs. "Good evening Rast, welcome aboard. Ready for some action? Get a good nights sleep, tommorrow your training starts.

Rast you can ask any questions or grab any equipment you need, just let me know. I will wait to see if anyone else creates a character. I'll post your training mission tommorrow. With your PS pf 15 you can weild duel weapons. I would recommend getting a pistol or rifle, you dont have to be proficient to use one, you'll just be at a negitive. By the way why no IQ score?

I got a question not related to the story. Can I duel wield a sword and a 1-handed gun?

yes you can at a small negitive to hit. Remember you get 2 weapon prof. you only chose one, so I would pick a small hand gun.

eh? I chose 2. Sword and Paired. Unless paired was a typo or something. By the way, you never said what "Paired" was, anyways.

that was my bad, I misread, I see now that you have sword and paired. Paired weapon proficiency doesnt give you an extra attack but makes the second attack un-blockable, unless they are using paired weapon(highly unlikley) Your first attack can be parried while the second cannot. You can still use a pistol, you are just at a small negitive.

So yes you can use a pistol in one hand and a sword in the other.

Ryoth notices a flyer while walking the roads of the village and heads in the direction the flyer pointed out. In the building he walked up to the man at the desk and signed his name and sat down in a chair. As his name was called he walked into the room where there was another man which asked some questions.

"I would be a good canidate because it is my only interest to do this job. I have no interest in anything else. I would like to be a shadow sniper."

Then walks into another waiting room.
