[First Draft] Litthenen Y, The first formal presentation of the story. Options

This is the first quarter of the story.

Litthenen Y follows the story of a girl stolen from her life as an infant, only to discover she has demonic as well as angelic power hidden within her soul. The name Liltaia is created fron two names that have conflicting meanings, Lillith which is demonic, and Gaia which is Earth-oriented, representing good. Liltaia's powers are hidden within her and she has no knowledge of them, but the demon queen that took her always tells her she is very "special and unique." The demon queen is known as Siele C'euron (see-elle surhn), ruler of the southern region of Reilaile known as Loielis, north of Loielis is the blue city, Alphaetia.

Siele has told Liltaia that she is her real mother and the only one who cares for her, to the people in Loielis under Siele's control Liltaia is the Crystalline Princess, crystalline like stone, unable to move freely. Liltaia is fourteen now and wondering why Siele still looks like she did ten years ago, while all of the other people have aged. As the days go on Liltaia finds Siele increasingly strange, she has an odd feeling that Siele isn't her mother but will not mention the feeling to Siele. Siele picks up on Liltaia's change of attitude and orders her to be secretly watched by member of the Elite Hell Guard.

Liltaia's best friend, Aaila, sees one of the guards spying on Liltaia and tells her about it, from then on Liltaia's own instincts are confirmed. Liltaia packs her bags and takes Aaila with her in fear of her well-being and they set off together. Having absolutely no idea where their adventure will lead them, they wind up getting lost in the dense forest with no weapons, they run through the forest and end up in a small town that looks deserted. On closer examination they find that tthe townspeople are in hiding from the creatures who try to lure them out of their homes for slaughter. Liltaia decides to help the people, they give her their best weapons and armor, she waits for the creatures to come back to the town. When they do she eradicates them and the town celebrates her victory, the morning arrives and Liltaia and Aaila are on their way with a tearful goodbye, Aaila suggests they should go to the north and see what its like, Liltaia agrees. Although they must travel through the barriers Siele has summoned, that alone makes it harder to escape, since they must take detours and stay away from the main districts.

Siele figures that they will attempt taking a detour, so she sets up barriers that only Hell Magic can break, knowing that Liltaia cannot summon her Green Flame yet, she suspects this will keep them from leaving Loielis. Little does Siele know, Liltaia's Green Flame is awakened is dire situations, when Aaila and Liltaia arrive at the West Barrier they find themselves surrounded by The 1st Quarter Hell Guard, they grab Aaila and pin Liltaia to the ground, just as they are about to kill Aaila, green flames engulf all of the guards and they turn to ashes. Liltaia faints from overexertion and Aaila carries her body into the woods to hide.

Meanwhile, Siele is alerted that piles of ashes were found by the West Barrier, Siele knows that this means Liltaia's Hell Magic has awakened. This shocks Siele as she suspected Liltaia couldn't summon her flames without proper teaching and guidance. In the woods, Liltaia awakens and is told by Aaila what happened, then Liltaia tells Aaila of the story she read in the 3rd floor library in Siele's Castle. The story told of a girl child born with the powers of the Heavens as well as tthe powers of the Infernal Abyss. Aaila realizes that the story spoke of Liltaia, but Liltaia remembers that the story also had key parts in it speaking of how the girl was to activate her powers. Aaila and Liltaia decide that they must get the book, and so their true adventures start...

Nice idea, I must admit it... but I haven't got some points:

1. I suppose Siele is going to use her as a sort of weapon, right?
2. How is supposed Litlaia to leave Loielis without being stopped by guards? I feel you'll come out with some good subterfuge:)
3. Siele is a completely evil character or has some different aspects in her personality?
4. I understand Litlaia is so willing to helpe someone, coming out from her "golden cage", but isn't stopping at a village to free it from monsters while Hell Guards are looking for her, a countersense?
5. Is the book you mentioned a sort of prophecy book, or is more likely a Bible, or a sort of study conducted by some alchemist on Litlaia?
6. Have you already an idea of the characters' appearance?

Well thank you for enjoying the storyline so far. Now to answer your questions one by one.

1. I suppose Siele is going to use her as a sort of weapon, right?
Siele has very special plans for Liltaia, she won't use as a weapon outright, but the power that is within Liltaia has the ability to destroy living creatures with only a look. So you can make up a storyline in your head.

2. How is supposed Litlaia to leave Loielis without being stopped by guards? I feel you'll come out with some good subterfuge:)
Her leaving Loielis will awaken powers in her, since the only way to escape the barriers is by using the Green Flame, which was awoken when the guards tried to kill Aaila.

3. Siele is a completely evil character or has some different aspects in her personality?
She is a bipolar character, based of some people I've met at previous times in my life. Yes, she is evii and somewhat monstrous, but she was always sweet, kind, sincere, and endearing to Liltaia as if she were her own child. But she kept Liltaia hidden within the confinements of the castle. This in turn alone cause damage to Liltaia and Siele's relationship.

4. I understand Litlaia is so willing to helpe someone, coming out from her "golden cage", but isn't stopping at a village to free it from monsters while Hell Guards are looking for her, a countersense?
At that time, Aaila and Liltaia still thought that the Hell Guards hadn't been sent yet. So, they thought they were safe or at least hidden. That part was made to be a decision of selflessness, but one also of naive thinking.

5. Is the book you mentioned a sort of prophecy book, or is more likely a Bible, or a sort of study conducted by some alchemist on Litlaia?
It is a mixture of a prophecy and a study, but the study wasn't conducted on Liltaia herself. You will see when the game is truly complete.

6. Have you already an idea of the characters' appearance?
Yes, I'm just not good at making sprites so I might have to get someone to make the sprite for me. Then I'll upload screenshots.

And what would be Saire's role in the story?
What kind of world are you referring to? A medieval-punk FF6-like world or anything different?
You didn't descried soldiers' weapons and equipment, but from the info I've gathered, I deduced it would be more like earlier Final Fantasy series's games

Siele is a really good character, from what I got reading your reply. So she has some maternal feelings for Litlaia but she has to hide her in the castle since she's the most important pawn on the events' chessboard...
I wonder how you will develop their relationship.

Litthenen Y is just something that popped into my head while trying to find a name for the game, I was surprised since game titles are usually the hardest for me to do since I always end up switching them up. And the world they live in is greatly similar to Ivalice in Final Fantasy XII, the weapons and armor will be imbued with magical powers, like Liltaia's power is called 'Green Flame'. Siele does indeed have maternal feelings for Liltaia, but the need for absolute power overrides those feelings, so she is quite bipolar.

Their relationship will be a rocky one, but I have some special plans for it.
