Well I have to say, your music is impressive! I like all the music here. All of them carry some sort of "essence" with them. Most of the music sounds like Golden Sun music (GBA), and I loved that game and its music.
Keep up the good work. I'm no composer myself so I can't hope to possibly get any where near good as this, but, by chance, what program are you using to create your music? It sounds like FL Studio, but I can't be so sure.
Nonetheless, you should really consider your music works of art. They are amazing.

Whatever Lies Inside the Heart: Sounds like theme from pokemon red (gbc xD), but when strings starts to sound, reminds me a clasic rpg game (maybe lufia and the fortress of doom or Final Fantasy 4), around 0:58 reminds me to bowser castle theme (that from the clasic mario bross), i like the theme, what vst did u use?
Stars Unveil the Vibrant Valleys: I like this theme, reminds me to lenne square from chronno trigger, but sounds more like zelda ocarina of time (hyrule town??, i dont remember the name of the place), its a very dinamic theme, i love it, fits perfect on a festival town or something like that, at 1:28 its a bit nostalgic, i love that part =).
Great compositions again, congratz dude, see yaa! =)

@Suke.: Thank you very much for your comments, glad to hear that my music sounds original and seems to fit well with the title. I know Stars Unveil the Vibrant Valleys is a nice composition, too, and is one of my favs as well.
@Essenceblade: Oh wow, thank you for the comment, very glad you like the music! I didn't think my music would be that amazing, I'm flattered. Sounds like Golden Sun? I absolutely love the series, I didn't think my music would rank up to that caliber, thanks. It's cool, yet funny though, I've had a lot of people who hear my music differently and see what I'm inspired by. Yes, I do use FL Studio as my DAW, I'm hoping my music doesn't state the obvious in terms of what program I'm using to compose.
@mrhawi: Thanks, mrhawi! It's always a pleasure to see you on here listening to my music. Actually, the song Stars Unveil the Vibrant Valleys is taken from my older composition, Eternal Sunshine. I just rearranged the composition a little differently and also added a few staves. As for Whatever Lies Inside the Heart, the VST I used was EWQLSO VSTi. It's awesome, I'm having a lot of fun with it.
This is a really interesting composition in which I think in my opinion is the best I've done thus far due to the variety of instruments, verses, and originality. I'm using this as an antagonist theme, pre-final boss theme in my game.
Ascendancy of a Fateful Malediction: Wow this theme is awesome!!!!, it reminds me sephiroth theme, and i fits perfectly on villiain like kefka or sephiroth. Its a very tense theme, the start is awesome, my favorite part is around 2:40, i like that voice oath? (i dont know what instrument is, but sounds great), i'm waiting your game =D. The variety of the compositions and i loved the arrangement =).
Memories of a New Legend ~ As the Story Unfolds ~: This sound like a character theme, or an intro theme (but fits on a scene that is relevant in the game). Reminds me to chronno trigger and has some of Secret of Mana too. My fav part of the song is around 1:35, that part is nice! =D.
Hey! So far, I've only heard your two latest pieces!
Memories of a New Legend is pretty cool. It sounds a bit oriental. I like the complexity in the composition. It's very well made.
Ascendancy of a Fateful Malediction: Is VERY powerful. It's badass enough to fit for satan himself! Haha. This will certainly fit if your villain is the source of all evil... in the entire world! I like the piece a lot, because of how good of a composition it is and partly because I'm a nutter for dark/creepy/eerie music.
Keep it up!

Wow, thanks so much for the comments everyone, it's much appreciated!
@MEands: lol, yeah, Traverse Through Deserted Sands is a pretty kick-arse song, it's actually meant to be used as a dungeon theme.
@khachuchrian: Thank you as always, I've been taking a great interest in your music much more lately, It's always a pleasure listening to your submissions. By the way, really great job covering JJ Heller's song What Love Really Means. The VST I've used for Ascendancy of a Fateful Malediction was EWQLSO - Strings DXS Super Orchestra for the string section, which sounds really great with a mixture of tremolo and staccato strings. For piano, I've used FL Studio 10 Piano making slight adjustments to the EQ and FX. I think it does the job considerably well.
@mrhawi: Thank you very much, it's always nice seeing you on here and commenting. Memories of a New Legend is actually meant to be the main theme of the entire video game, similar concept to the Final Fantasy main theme you hear on almost every game. Ascendancy of a Fateful Malediction is arguably the best piece I've written thus far, I've put a lot of work into it. Between us musicians, it literally took me 2 months to finish it. :\ It was actually an unfinished piece for awhile which I didn't end up liking, I heavily re-arranged a lot of parts, made it even more darker/eerie seeing how I wanted this to be an antagonist theme, pre-final boss type of theme, and added a couple of new staves to bring versatility to the composition such as, tremolo, staccato strings that would properly fit on different sectioned verses. To be honest, the song would have turned out completely differently if I had kept it the way it was.
@Stern: Thank you very much. To have you comment on my work, is a real pleasure, Stern. I've never had the chance to congratulate you on your submission for the RRR Music Competition 3, so congratulations! It's interesting how you find Memories to have that oriental feel to it because, yes, I did intentionally meant for it to be a tad oriental; it's kind of my way to pay homage to the composers from big video game companies like Square-Enix who I'm inspired by. And it's pretty awesome how you think that Ascendancy would be a suitable theme for Satan himself, hahaha! Am I really making it that obvious just how much I love and worship the devil? lol jk You are right though, the theme is meant to be for the almighty antagonist, pre-final boss battle theme...who summons Satan to do his dirty work. XD I've been listening to your submissions lately and sound great, "I'm sad, so I will whistle for a bit" is a really interesting despair theme that in my opinion is arranged and composed real nicely. I also liked the latest composition you wrote, Grace Theme, sounds pretty cute, almost as if it's meant for a kid's theme. EDIT: I failed to mention that I had redone Calming Blue, give it a listen and let me know what you think.

I listened to some of your stuff a few days ago but haven'y had time to comment. I still don't have much time now, so I just chose a song at random to critique. That song was Ascendancy of a Fateful Malediction. And my god, it was cool. So delightfully menacing the whole way through, I can definitely see that setting an amazing mood as a pre-boss theme, making any plot twists or malevolent plans hit the player that much harder. You'd just need to make sure the Final Boss theme is even MORE bad ass, which would be quite a task hehe my one complaint is that at the end, the moving notes going on between the flute and piano kind of break the even flowing evil the rest of the song had. I know it's not like the whole song was just quater notes up until that point, but the two instruments doing it simultaneously made me feel that way... I hope I put that in an understandable manner lol
@MrGuy0250: Thanks a lot, I appreciate your feedback, I do understand what you mean. After continuously and thoroughly listening to the ending verse of Ascendancy of a Fateful Malediction, I can agree with you, it does somewhat break the evil flow, I didn't want to make the piano and flute both quarter notes, I just might make a small edit to that section.
Finished up another song just moments ago, I suppose it's still in its 'growing phase' in terms of what needs to be improved, so critique and suggestions are welcomed.

It sounds really good, but I might argue that having some more percussion in there would be great. Perhaps a bass drum with some rolling thunder (silently in the background in certain parts)? I can just hear those sounds in my head, but not in the song, lol. ^^
Hey X-M-O, thanks for the feedback, I appreciate your thoughts on the latest submission. I have to admit, after listening to the song numerous times, it doesn't quite do it for me entirely, some sections are really good and wouldn't want to change it, but I can do much better on other sections of the song as well, so I'll be doing a couple of more changes before I finalize it. It has percussion in there, ethnic percussions to be exact, but I agree, it does lack a little "beefy-ness" to it. I am taking your suggestion to consideration and might be using timpani or percussion; I'm panning it out in my head to see which section(s) it would work out the most.

Yeah, it's sometimes difficult to just pick up a suggestion and run with it without hearing what I hear in my head, lol. I commend you for trying to though, and hope to hear the revised version soon. ^^
Thank you, X-M-O. I'll definitely post the revised version for you to listen to when I have the chance to work at it. At the moment, I have just finished and finalized another piece, an older piece mind you, but I really like this one and it looks to be the finalized version. Give it a listen whenever you have the chance, and let me know what you think.
Wicked!! I never would have thought it'd remind you of Metroid, it's cool because I'm a die-hard fan of Metroid. Ever since I played and beat Metroid for NES, I've been hooked ever since. I was usually anxiously waiting for new titles to be released.
Thank you for the comment though, I was kinda going more for that mystic/serene feeling, the only song that comes to mind I can take reference to would be Eruyt Village from Final Fantasy XII. I'm using my composition as background music for a magical village in my game.

* o * I love Mystical Land of Magic, sounds so beautiful and there are a couple of parts that remind me of this Korean song that my sister is constantly playing kinda, I don't know the name of it however.
Heedfully Treading the Uncleansed Ground: Wow! this is a a very interesting theme, when the harp (or piano?) starts at 0:30 its awesome, I like that part, those arpeggios are intresting, but I'm impresed with the harmony of the theme. If I start to think in some games, this will remind me FF9 mixed with FF7 and some of your own style, the theme is catchy. I thing, this is one of your best songs. I don't know much about the music theory, but this theme was perfect for me =).
Mystical Land of Magic: This is an old theme?, I'm sure that I listened it before. By the way, I like the theme, the song reminds me to secret of mana plus Chronno Trigger, and has some of FF too. If i close my eyes I can imagine a mystical place with magicians and a place "with a lot of story", like an ancient place. Well, like always, I love your themes, actually I think you are one of my favorites amateur composers on the net (I guess you are amateur, aren't you?).
