I'd like a script that allows you to play an animation on the map without having to play it on a character. Like specify an X,Y coordinate and it play there. I looked through the script section and couldn't find anything. Thanks

It's easy, just call the 'play animation' from the command box. But before, make an event on where you want the animation take place.

Sorry, this is a bit more advanced. I need to be able to play an animation from a script because it must be able to play on ANY map at any given time.

What about making the trigger action to 'parallel process', and copy paste it to other map?

I'm not quite understanding what you're saying. I'd like to be able to play an animation anytime I wish at any given point on the map at any time. Basically defind play_animation(143, 10, 19).

This call would play animation 143 from the database at X coordinate 10 and Y coordinate 19. I've been trying for 2 days and can't get it done.
