Hey there man, I am loving these tutorials and I decided to go with what you already showed and made my own map, but when I import it, my sprites can't seem to move on the map, just turn. Any idea how to fix this?

YAY my turn to help = D

this is what you do. FIRST you grabe a tileset that is walkable , draw it on everyplace on your map you want your sprite to walk on.
next, take a tileset thats not walkable , draw where you dont want your sprite to walk on
then take paint bucket an use an invisible tile. the ones in guids an over write the places you just painted an your done = D

That is very true tongue.gif However...it would be best if you ensure you use an empty E tile. I normally go for the bottom row tongue.gif

It may be possible to animate in photoshop, however, the best approach may be to draw your ground and animated tiles normally in VX first, then port it over to photoshop to draw the rest using parallax techniques.
